Thread: Surging Latino growth has country looking to California scho

Please don't hesitate to post your comments in the comment section of the news articles. Posting here is akin to preaching to the choir. Posting to the comment section of articles expands the reach of your comments to many less educated on the subject of illegal immigration. They have a need to know. Please avail yourself to every opportunity to spread the word. Posting the same comment to ten artcices multiplies it's effectiveness ten fold. Let's get the word out!!

California is THE LAST PLACE to look to for success. The only reason there are successful "pockets" in California is because the entire state has basically lowered its teaching AND learning standards. Everyone here is a "winner." No one has to compete for anything. We wouldn't want to be called racists, so if the kid is Hispanic he gets special treatment to begin with, starts out 10 points ahead of White, Asians or Blacks and then has all doors opened for them, even if they don't have a clue about what's going on.

Just showing up and breathing in a California classroom is measured as "Success" these days, so of course it looks as though these "schools" are doing well. They churn out idiots by the sh*t load!

This is thanks to Bush's "No child left behind" act. It's a disaster and even the teachers hate it! Because of this, schools with once great scores are struggling under the weight of IA's and thier anchors. Struggling schools lose funding when thier score goes down. IA's and thier kids not knowing or speaking English is what brings the scores/education level down for the rest of our kids!

Seems to me I recently heard CA now ranks 48th in educating their children. Years ago we were at the top. There are still good districts but all and all we're obviously not a state to get advise from.
