Syrian Refugees Cannot Be Vetted: However, Neither Can Aliens Who Cross Our Borders

It is entirely understandable that there is great consternation about the obvious national security issues created by admitting aliens who claim to be refugees from Syria into the United States. The vetting process of such aliens is fatally flawed because our officials do not have access to databases or other sources of reliable information to ascertain the true identities and backgrounds of these foreign nationals.

Consequently, a growing list of governors and other elected officials, from both parties, are calling for suspending the administration’s plans to re-settle Syrian refugees in the United States, until and unless the fatal flaws within the vetting process are remedied.

On November 19, 2015 the House Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, chaired by Congressman Trey Gowdy, conducted a hearing on the topic, “The Syrian Refugee Crisis and Its Impact on the Security of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program.”

However, many of the very same politicians who demand we at least temporarily suspend the resettlement of Syrian refugees in the United States, because we cannot vet them, remain eager to provide millions of illegal aliens with lawful status and official identity documents, blithely ignoring what should be obvious: aliens who run our borders, that is to say, enter without inspection — whether by running the Mexican or Canadian borders or stowing away on ships — are not vetted at all.

Indeed, when such aliens succeed in evading the Border Patrol and make their way into the interior of the United States, there is no record of their entry. The open borders/immigration anarchists euphemistically refer to them as being “undocumented.” This means that they have no official or reliable documentation to attest to their true identities or backgrounds, including their respective countries of citizenship.

To state it succinctly, entry without inspection = entry without vetting.

The inspections process conducted at ports of entry is supposed to prevent the entry of aliens whose presence in the United States poses a threat to safety and wellbeing of America and Americans.

Title 8 U.S. Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens enumerates the grounds for excluding aliens from the United States and includes aliens infected with dangerous communicable diseases, suffer from extreme mental illness and are prone to violence, aliens who are criminals, human rights violators, war criminals, spies or terrorists. Finally that list also includes aliens who would likely become public charges or displace American workers. There is nothing in that list that relates to the race, religion or ethnicity of these aliens only our safety and wellbeing.
Many aliens who have entered the United States without inspections are citizens of countries from around the world including Syria and other countries associated with terrorism. These aliens often make their way to Mexico seeking to enter the United States without being vetted.

On November 18, 2015 CNN reported, “Honduras detains 5 Syrians over fake passports” and on November 21, 2015 Fox News reported, “3 Syrians with fake passports detained in Dutch Caribbean island of St. Maarten, 1 stopped in Honduras.”

While many of these aliens are not necessary directly involved with ISIS or al-Qaeda or other terror organizations, without a “scorecard” there is no way of determining if these aliens have such affiliations or are sympathetic to the radical Islamic cause and would be willing to provide vital support to terrorists who enter the United States.

Since the attacks of September 11, 2001 politicians from both parties have repeated the mantra, “We are fighting the terrorists over there so that we won’t have to fight them over here.” However, the attacks of 9/11 were conducted here. The Boston Marathon was obviously conducted inside the United States. Many other terror attacks that, for one reason or another thankfully did not succeed in killing innocent victims, were to be carried out over here, within our borders.

The United States and its allies must eradicate the malignant terror organizations overseas, but our leaders must recognize the undeniable fact that there are sleeper cells already in the United States with more international terrorists seeking to gain entry into the United States each and every day.

While our armed forces must succeed in wiping the scourge of ISIS and other terror organizations off the face of this planet, no matter where they may be, the DHS must finally live up to its name (Department of Homeland Security) and protect America and Americans by securing our borders and effectively enforcing and administering our immigration laws from within the interior of the United States to prevent terrorists from entering the United States and then embedding them in communities around our country as they go about their deadly preparations to launch a terror attack inside our country.

Demanding that our borders be secured and integrity be instilled in the entire immigration system is not about xenophobia but about taking a commonsense approach, to enhance national security, in an extremely perilous era.

We need a 10 to 20 Year Moratorium on All Immigration.

Our inns are full, our pot is boiling over, we have no jobs for them, and we have no money to pay for welfare to sustain them.

Americans are sick and tired of worrying about illegal aliens, immigrants, refugees, asylum-seekers, guest workers, DACA's and DAPA's. We have our own people to worry about, our own poor, our own unemployed, our own victimized, our own disenfranchised, our own sick, our own uneducated, our own criminals and our own mentally ill.

When a government like ours puts the personal agendas of officials and donors above the needs of its citizens, it is no longer a representative government, it's a perilous blend of monarchy and oligarchy.

I have posted many times for many years about our Period of Ironies and Opposites. We are well into that. So far into it in fact, that we are in the result phase of years of officials running these deception schemes with chief among them the mantras of "we are a nation of immigrants", "free trade is good for America", and "we'll fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here".

Today is the 150th Anniversary of the 13th Amendment. Today the President and some others spoke about the struggle of our country to end slavery. Today the President exploited the ceremony commemorating the 13th Amendment to imply that a nation that ended slavery is a nation that welcomes others without bigotry.

Yes, the final insult of this Presidency against black Americans came today on the 150th anniversary of the 13th Amendment comparing the horror of their struggle through these many years as slaves, former slaves and descendants of slaves to the treatment of Muslim immigrants.

Any black or white American who can still support this Administration or any official or candidate for office who on any level would compare the issue of slavery and the oppression of black Americans in the United States to the clamoring of any group of immigrants or wannabe immigrants deserves the outcome.

Black Americans, please wake up and jump ship to the Republican Party that fought the bloodiest war in the history of the United States to free many of your ancestors, that passed the 3 Amendments to the US Constitution to insure this never happened again in the United States, and fought for 100 years to pass Civil Rights Bills to guarantee equal rights in all of our States, and to this day is still the only group of people who want that guarantee to be a reality in the work place, on the streets, in the justice system, in the neighborhoods, and throughout every square inch of this nation.

We are not the party that wants black people segregated in ghettos in inner cities trapped there by poverty, the Democratic Party is the one that wants that. We are not the party that wants to perpetuate your poverty percentages by handing out your jobs to immigrants, the Democratic Party is the one that wants that. We are not the party that wants your good manufacturing jobs with $20 an hour wages and scores of benefits to be shipped out to foreign shores with you left holding a remnant of the life you worked for in the form of a temporary unemployment check and a road to welfare by re-training you to work at jobs that only pay $8 an hour, the Democratic Party is the one that wants that.

Yes, in recent years the Republican Party has been complicit in both. We have Republicans who have sold us out to try to win the political game. Our party is not innocent, but the core of our party is fighting back to end this within our party, and we need your help to win this battle.

We also need candidates who will make these changes in our party, and there is one. You know who he is. He's a plain-talking rich guy who has spoken out about these issues for 35 years. In frustration that no one else would step up and actually do the job, not only talk the talk, but walk the walk, he decided to run for President himself and fund his own campaign so no donors control him. That person is Donald J Trump.

No, he's not a silver-tongued devil, no, he thinks in details but speaks in generalities. No, he's not a "slick willy, he speaks from the heart instead of a script. But no matter how he says it, he is right, and he will carry through, no matter how much heat, no matter how much criticism, no matter what. He is fearless, and he is the only person in the race for President who actually cares about American citizens, especially what is going on in black communities. He is appalled by all of the policies that are destroying our country and the lives of our people.

On this day, the 150th anniversary of the 13th Amendment, a day that should have been your day but one that this President made a Foreign Muslim Day, make this the day you come home to the Republican Party and help us fix our country.
