Where's the real threat of violence?
The left keeps trying to link the tea party movement to the potential for violence. Several commentators have suggested that the failed Times Square car bomb over the weekend may have tea party fingerprints on it.

Tea partiers are rightfully angry about the rapid expansion of government and the subsequent loss of individual freedoms, but so far, the tea partiers haven't been responsible for a single violent incident. I spoke at an event in Clarkston on Saturday that drew many tea party activists, and there wasn't any sign anywhere of anything remotely hateful or violent.

Compare that to the May Day rally in Santa Cruz, Calif., where supporters of illegal immigrants trashed 20 downtown businesses.

And yet I haven't noticed former President Bill Clinton or any of the others who see potential violence in the tea party movement warning that the campaign on behalf of illegal immigrants could explode into violence, which it already has.

The tea party appears determined to direct its anger at the polls in November, and leave the window breaking to the left.
