MONTERREY, Mexico — Police in northern Mexico have arrested two people accused of buying Mexican babies to sell to U.S. couples for a profit, investigators said Wednesday.
Amado Torres, 64, of Harlingen, Texas, and his 25-year-old wife, Maria Isabel Hernandez, are suspected of buying more than a dozen children ages 2 or younger, officials say.

Police later arrested Torres and Hernandez after finding them with the baby at a house in nearby Rio Bravo.

I know, it is a no win situation for that child. Being sold, or having a criminal mother......
I am left sort of speechless about that. Poor child.“In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, For then it costs nothing to be a Patriot.â€
