Texas DPS Pursues Gulf Cartel Member Smuggling Illegals on High-Speed Chase – (VIDEO)

President Trump has successfully sealed the border since he resumed office in January 2025. Illegal border crossings have dropped by more than 99 percent as a result.

The previous four years under the Biden regime resulted in a border invasion of an estimated 15 million illegal aliens. Law enforcement agencies like the Texas DPS are constantly busy pursuing illegal aliens and smugglers, while working with the Border Patrol to make our country safer.

Earlier this week, Texas DPS went on a high-speed chase in Starr County after a Gulf Cartel member who was smuggling illegal aliens.

During the chase, the illegal aliens bailed from the vehicle, and the smuggler kept driving. He eventually was forced to stop and ran into a nearby home. He was taken into custody by the DPS.

Texas DPS’s commitment to pursuing and arresting illegal aliens and smugglers is part of Operation Lone Star, which was launched in 2021. The operation includes the Texas National Guard and Texas Tactical Border Force working with the Border Patrol.

Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution gives the federal government the authority and the responsibility to protect the country from invasion.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

The rule of law has been restored under President Trump.
