Rick Perry may be a proud Aggie alumnus, but some students at the school are less than proud of the Republican presidential hopeful.

"There is nothing conservative about their petition," Ainee Athar, a UT student and member of the group told the Texas Tribune. "This is a mean-spirited action that seeks to punish young people who are doing everything they can to succeed, despite countless obstacles."

Ainee sounds like a true TEXAS TOAST supporter except used "mean-spirited" and not TEXAS TOAST's favorite HEARTLESS if you disagree.

I wonder if the vote on the Texas Dream Act was taken today, would there only be 4 dissenting votes? Americans are more aware of the real impact of illegal immigration in 2011, and they do not like citizens and legal residents being asked to step aside for illegal aliens to receive special treatment.
