Police - More Methamphetamine Being Smuggled Through Valley

SULLIVAN CITY - Sullivan City Police are tracking, what they say, has become a new trend in narcotics trafficking in their area.

Police not only found a large load of pot and an alleged stash house Saturday, they also found a large supply of methamphetamine at the house.

The smugglers who led police on a chase Friday night and briefly eluded police, were captured just a few hours later at the alleged stash house.

Three vehicles were seized during the investigation.

Officers found 15-hundred pounds of marijuana in the home during the search, along with five pounds of methamphetamine.

Police spokesperson Joe Cantu said several police departments across the Valley are starting to see an influx of the drug.

Three people were arrested.
