There is no difference between illegal immigration, H1B visa

I feel like I'm posting a lot of editorial type articles instead of regular news and yet the editorials are everywhere. I think it's a good sign!

There is no difference between illegal immigration, H1B visa and outsourcing – all are part of a welfare system and corporate giveout for inefficient businesses

The basic fact is simple. Illegal immigration, H1B visa and outsourcing are equally bad. There is not much difference between them. It does not matter whether you are Republican, Democrat, liberal or conservative. It does not matter whether you are from China, Brazil or India. Depriving someone of their basic rights is bad. Americans are getting cheated of a decent livelihood. The small and large businesses are abusing the aliens. You talk about it, ‘they’ will attack you. They hire people who can take out ‘noise makers’ in the system. They attack you on the Internet. They attack you in the street. They will do everything they can stop you. But at the end of the day they find themselves helpless. There are some people who are honest and are not afraid to speak the truth.

Indian and Chinese oligarchs say it is part of globalization. Western oligarchs hire ‘characters’ that come in and spread rumors and controversy to hush up what you want to say. Yes, there is no difference between illegal immigration, H1B visa and outsourcing and anyone with any common sense understands that. It is bad for American and European economy and common people in the Western nations. It is bad for India and China because on the long run it works an ‘Opium’ of the new millennium. It is bad for aliens who are abused. It is bad for American corporations who survive with corporate welfare from the Government. How long can they survive on cheap labor from India or China? A business model that depends on exploitation and illegal behavior is bound to fall apart sooner or later.

When Lou Dobbs talks against outsourcing and illegal immigration, they leave him alone – no matter how much he makes on these hypes. You tell the truth, they will stage vicious attacks on you because you have the courage to speak the truth. And, they know you are not part of the system that gains from illegal immigration, H1B visa and outsourcing.

let us examine why H1B should be stopped. If you want to hire a human being, you should be prepared to treat the person as human being. When you bring someone from India or another country in his early twenties, you should not think he or she is a slave. The person is a human being. He expects not just some dollars or euros, he wants to settle down in an industrialized nation with dignity. After reaching thirty and living in America or Europe for six years, it is not possible to return back to India or China. Because if he returns back to these emerging nations, he is considered ‘alien’ over there. He needs a green card and citizenship to settle. If you cannot provide that, do not exploit this naïve Indian or Chinese or person from another country. No one leaves their own culture and country for some dollars and euro. America attracts aliens because they look for permanent better life.

Illegal immigration should be stopped for ever. The H1B should be stopped forever. It is immoral and illegal to exploit human beings. At the same time, if a small number of talented people are required in some genuine cases where suitable American citizens cannot be found, then these alien workers should be provided green card and path to citizenship the moment they enter the country. That will gurantee two things. First, these aliens are not exploited by the sponsoring American Corporation. Second, the American corporation has no incentive to deprive an American citizen from a decent job and import an alien worker.

Exploitation of aliens and cheating American citizens are bad. Every American citizen has the right to live in his or her country with dignity. Every Chinese in China and Indian in India also have the right to live a decent life in their own nation. It is unfair to cheat Americans of their jobs by exporting well paid jobs abroad. It is also wrong to lower the wages by allowing illegal immigration and import of cheap talents on H1B visa.

Some aftereffects of the H-1b the average person isn't aware of:

    1. There are hundreds of thousands of IT and other white collar jobs in America, but the average American will never see them posted. Why? Because the only way to see most of them is to look in a government visa (LCA) database to see the companies and the jobs they claimed they couldn't fill with Americans. In most cases they never tried to find an American worker, and there was usually no requirement that they must post the job where you or I could see it.

    2. The original intent of the program was to import the best and brightest of other nations to work here. It was never intended to be used as a mass program to replace American workers, but that is what it has become. Many believe that the H-1b is part of the reason for the low percentage of women and minorities in the tech fields - they've been crowded out. Yet there are still people who believe that this program is only bringing in rare smart people, not rank and file workers.

    3. As with Mexico and points south, a huge mechanism has been developed to deliver them here and bypass any local candidates for the openings that are now earmarked for them.

So, if we look at the original intent of the program, they may not be illegal according to the letter of the law, but certainly according to the spirit of the original intent.

As is substantiated by the video production from Pennesylvania, posted elsewhere on this website. BR, are these the jobs that are off-limits to Americans, or are these in addition to those off-limits jobs?

According to information provided by Kate,

arguably half of the H-1Bs are here illegally - for violating the annual arrival cap and for staying here as over-hires.

There is a fix for all this. Abolish the H-1B visa and repatriate these non-immigrants back to Bangalore!!! Right, senator, or are the campaign contributions from Tata clouding your vision?

What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?

Hard to say - the only thing we can say for sure is that there are hundreds of thousands of jobs that were never posted for us, but reserved for foreigners. Rob Sanchez's site has the astounding figure: in 2001 9 out of 10 IT jobs that were filled, went to foreign guestworkers.

The video from PA documents what happens along the way, after a few years, when the company decides to turn the temporary guestworker into a permanent employee by sponsoring him for a green card. At that point, the law says they MUST post the opening, but the lawyers in the video show the company how to disqualify and legally dodge any American candidate who might possibly see the ad and show up. These 'perm' ads were the incredibly detailed openings with unlikely requirements that looked like they were composed off of someone's CV with some impossible extras thrown in - because, as we now know, they WERE.

Imagine the pain of the qualified American job seekers, who could have done these jobs, who responded to the ad, and got either no response or a sham interview. We were talking about this on the boards as early as '01.

Ironically, by the time the perm ad is posted, the foreign worker has the advantage of having been on the job a few years - which advantage was given to him by th slipshod conduct of the DOL concerning the H-1B visa.

In fact it is so bad, that ALL the job growth in high tech jobs went to H-1B visas! They keep trying to get people to go into debt for college knowing full well they won't be hired, or will receive vastly reduced wages. They will be in debt, and then what?

The AMA has vastly restricted how many doctors are trained in the US, so that we have to import foreign doctors and dentists as well, especially Muslims. Remember London and Boycott!

Last year for the first time in our history, the US became a net importer of food. And, lousey food at that!

Why have US students consistently ranked in the lowest 25% in Int'l proficiency exams in math and science? Why are 50% of US students not graduating from high school, it's shocking! How are all these people supposed to get good jobs, especially with illegal aliens taking the labor jobs, like construction that used to be good paying?

In short, what condition do you think this country will be in just a short 5 years from now? The crime is going to be devastating, and we will be dependant on foreigners for everythiing if we aren't already!

The globalist want to break us as we are Consitutionalists and will never accept North American Union. They want us powerless and dependant.

Needing to import food scares me even more than our dependence on foreign oil.

BetsyRoss and Coto, maybe you guys can confirm this. I was listening to a radio program yesterday, and it was stated that to gain training and certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer costs thousands of dollars here, but costs a pittance in India (perhaps Microsoft is deliberately underwriting training there??) - as a way for such companies as Microsoft to try to claim that they cannot find enough Americans with this type of desired training and experience.
