A House Republican leadership aide said members "are looking for a safe landing zone as far as a guest worker program that can't be defined as amnesty," and that the plan appeared to provide just that.

Getting close to November there is no "Safe Zone" for the GOP. They had best secure our borders PERIOD! Guest Worker= reward for breaking the law. NO!!!

The BLITZ List is almost ready which should save a lot of time for everyone.

We must hit them between the eyes and let them know that we KNOW!!

I have a feeling that we'll be at this for months while they're ducking and diving around us trying to get AMNESTY passed.

The La Razas have been wanting another class of visa so it will relieve the HB-1 blackout, on low skilled labor. Hutchinson is giving it to them. She has a guestworker program that will add another class of visa. Thanks for more illegals that will stay over on expired visas.

Action Alert! Stop the Pence Shamnesty Plan
A new immigration proposal by Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) has received considerable attention as a workable "compromise." Closer analysis reveals that it is another amnesty proposal that is, in some respects, worse than the Senate bill.

- The Pence plan would allow an unlimited number of "guest workers" into the country. There is absolutely no limit. After three years the Department of Labor could, but would not be required to, set a limit.

- It provides amnesty to illegal aliens by allowing them to use the new guest worker program and then immediately apply for a green card.

- The main distinction of the Pence plan is that it turns the guest worker/amnesty processing over to private businesses. This appeals to conservatives who like the free-market approach, but provides even more incentives for fraud. Illegal aliens would need to self-deport to their home country where they would then be processed through these private centers and allowed to return.

Pence has met with Bush and Cheney about this plan, which means that it has real traction. We need to expose its details and nip it in the bud.

From what I understand they are to "self deport" within two years, thats like asking all tax evaders to turn them selfs in. what a joke.

There's a little more too it than that. And, this IS the PENCE PLAN with a little twist to some of the language.

How about.... go home, fill out a few papers and BAM.....you can come back in as a LEGAL special {new} Visa holder with/ blah blah blah. In essence it's - COME ONE, COME ALL! USA OPEN TO EVERYONE.

why amnesty or citizenship to any criminal or guest? when you invite someone over to your home, do you automatically offer to make them part of the family? do we jump for joy when they bring their whole family with them. NO! it is time to stop this nonsense. no more guest workers without a bond being posted. no more citizenship for sale, nor earned citizenship. guest workers may come in after this mess is cleaned up by comprehensive enforcement of our laws, we must severly fine and jail employers that hire illegals. they must have a job waiting for them, be sponsored/bonded, then they must leave. no permanent guests. no more bringing in the whole family either. fish and family smell bad after three days. we have had over 20 years of this stinking mess, let's throw out the garbage in washington.
