Bills Would Limit Language at Work, Penalize False IDs

NASHVILLE, TN (AP) - Proposals to allow employers to require English be spoken at work and to make it a crime for illegal immigrants to use false identification to gain employment are on their way for full Senate votes.

The Senate Commerce Committee on Tuesday unanimously advanced the measures sponsored by Sen. Jack Johnson, a Brentwood Republican.

The language restriction would only apply while workers were on the clock and prospective employees would have to be informed about the rule before they were hired.

The other proposals would make it a misdemeanor to manufacture or use false federal identification for the purposes of illegal immigrants to gain employment.

It's a felony if an American Citizen uses false identification. But of course if your an illegal invader, special laws have to be passed to include you since you are otherwise exempt from being prosecuted for anything.

Thank you MyAmerica and everyone who is contacting this Senator and any other of the Tennessee Senators and Representatives. 60 bills on immigration in the TN Legislature and we need to support these attempts to send the illegals on their way.
