If there were ever a case in which a civil remedy was warranted, this would be it! I hope the best for this poor woman. I can only image the horror of having to go through this mess.

Of course it will be up to the victim to prove she was the one not at fault with all of her credit cards, banks and so on. That's the outrage!

Not so. And now, Ridley says, the Social Security Administration is proposing a cruelly ironic solution that would permanently rob her of her identity.

"The Social Security office told me that I might have to change my name," she said. "I don’t want to do that. I think I should not have to change my name over something I did not do."

You cant count on the IRS or any other government agency to help you with problems like identity theft. None of the agencies know what to do to solve the problem because its gotten waaaay out of hand.

The Social Security Admin doesnt work with the IRS to check for problems. They look for easy solutions - like changing YOUR NAME. IT MAKES IT MORE CONVENIENT FOR THEM.

Remember everyone, THE McCAIN-KENNEDY amnesty deal would have FORGIVEN ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT STOLE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND USED FAKE ID'S TO GET JOBS. AND.... THEY EVEN WANTED TO PROVIDE ILLEGAL ALIENS WITH BACK PAY AND TAX RETURNS ON THOSE SAME "STOLEN SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS".

So what is going to happen to this woman. NOTHING?

Becareful I am sure if you refuse to change your name , your life and everything else to accomidate these illegals it will be interputed as HATE speech...God forbid your not willing to give up your ID for one of them.

Why did they not call the police or ICE into the office to arrest her, Identity theft is a felony.
