NFIB Talking Points: Employee Verification
UPDATE: On Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, the U.S. government agreed to delay until May 21, 2009, implementation of a new rule that would require federal contractors to use the federal government's E-Verify employment eligibility system. This extension was granted after several business groups, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Society for Human Resource Management filed a lawsuit challenging the legality of the federal contractor rule. NFIB will continue to provide updates on the status of rule.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
