Truck carrying illegal entrants smashes into train car

A Chevy S-10 pickup hit a stationary train car Monday morning at 9 a.m. at South south of Tucson at Nogales Highway and Sahuarita Road, said Richard DeWitt, Border Patrol Tucson Sector spokesman.
No one suffered injuries, he said.
Pima County Sheriff’s deputies called in the Border Patrol after learning that the 10 passengers were illegal entrants from Mexico, he said. The driver escaped and despite agents’ efforts to follow his footprints, he wasn’t found, DeWitt said.
It’s unclear why the truck slammed into the railroad car.
The illegal border crossers were taken to a station where agents were going to run their names through a national criminal database. Those without criminal history will be returned to Mexico.

And what happens to the one's with a criminal history?

From past history, they too are usually returned to Mexico too without being charged for previously being deported and violating it again.
