Many Americans walk on this earth so caught up in their lives that they don’t stop to think of anything that is going on around them. When the planes started hitting the twin towers in New York City on September 11th 2001 some of them woke up but many just turned over like nothing happened. After all it is easier for one to put blinders on then it is to realize what is going on in this world. It is difficult for one to research a subject such as illegal entry into this country, without getting frightened by what is going on. Without some kind of hatred toward Mexican people, one has a hard time getting to upset about Mexicans coming into this country looking for a better life. However, looking further into the situation it is easy to see that the infiltration into this country is a much bigger problem then that. One of the biggest effects to this country by allowing illegal immigration is the threat of Terror. It is widely known that Osama Bin Ladin has commented on the fact that America is a dirty land occupied by infidels that must be eliminated. He has made specific comments on the fact that the best way into the country is through the Mexican-American border in Arizona. This does not leave someone with warm and fuzzy feelings. It is not hard to see what is already happening in Mexico. On Sunday March 27th 2005 at an America – Mexico Soccer game in Mexico fans booed as they played the American National Anthem, and chanted Osama Osama before the Game started and when they made Goals.

Another Terror threat is by Central American Terrorist group called Mara Salvatrucha, who has vowed to teach Americans a lesson as they gather on the Mexican border for a month long demonstration in Arizona during the month of April. Mara Salvatrucha Is a gang who successfully took over the country of El Savador by corruption and terrorizing the government and controlling the police. When the citizens had enough they put together a group they called the black angels. The Black Angels set out to kill all of the Mara Salvatrucha, until they all fled to America where we gave them amnesty. They started out in the Los Angeles area and were successful in taking over much of the drug trade. They have now spread all over the country and have reeked havoc on the nation. In February the FBI declared this organization a Terrorist organization, and rounded up 102 of their deadliest members. One of the things that alerted the FBI is when they found out about meetings between upper level Al Qa’ida and Upper level Mara Salvatrucha where there were deals made to smuggle terrorist into the country through Mexico. The third threat to America is not as recognizable, there is a professor at the University of California at Riverside who is named Armando Navarro. It is hard to Pin Mr. Navarro down to just one organization because he is in charge of so many. One of the organizations is called the Reconquista’s . This organization was started in the late 60’s and has vowed to claim the land from eastern Texas to northern Oregon and add it to Mexico where they will form a new country called Atzlan. This group is stating that the Americans took this land from the Mexicans and they are going to take it back. Another Organization Mr. Navarro is in charge of, is a Group called MeCHa (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan). Which means the Movment of the chicano students of aztlan. They have a requirement to be a part of the group and it reads, “General membership shall consist of any student who accepts, believes and works for the goals and objectives of MEChA, including the liberation of AZTLAN, meaning self-determination of our people in this occupied state and the physical liberation of our land."(atzlan.com) This is a student organization that must vow their allegiance to the Revolution and the pushing out of all people who occupy the land they claim as Part of Aztlan. This organization is on most college campus’s including University of Arizona and Arizona State University. Some other Organizations Mr. Navarro is in charge of, are Impacto 2000, which was the calling up of revolutionaries to take back the land they know as Atzlan. Mr. Navarro was also the founder of the La Raza Unida Political Party who has not been heard from in recent past. Another is El Plan De Atzlan Which is just another of many organizations used to further the taking over of what we know as the southwest of America. It appears that Mr. Navarro’s Anti American Rhetoric is unlimited and is picking up steam for the Atzlan Agenda. All of these organizations have one thing in common and that is to take over this land that they claim was the promise land of the Aztec’s. Since the late 60’s the Atzlan Agenda has been very successful in placing people in very important positions, such as Mr. Bustemante who was the Vice-Governor of California which is in utter financial ruin. A Member of MeCHa who wishes to remain nameless list the following people from Arizona starting with the Arizona legislation, Linda Aguirre, Amanda Aguirre, Olivia Cajero Bedford, Martha Garcia, Linda Lopez, Phil Lopes, Robert Meza, Ben R. Miranda, Richard Miranda, Pete Rios, Rebecca Rios, Victor Soltero, Manuel V. Alvarez, and Jorge Luis Garcia. From the Arizona Congress Raul Grijalva and Edwardo Pastor. She states don’t even get her started on Mayors Such as the Mayor of Douglas Ray Borane, who is not Hispanic but it is alleged that he just likes the monies that come his way. The influx of Illegals into this country has sparked a debate on many fronts. Here in Arizona there are dead bodies found in our deserts on a regular basis. I understand that many believe that the desert is not that big of a deal, we live in it right so it can’t be all that bad. When Louis and Clark were making their way west they stopped in the desert and reported back that this was a vast wasteland and is totally inhabitable. Louis and Clark were experienced explorers and so, one would assume they could make this decision. However it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that it is 125 degrees in the shade the headache is becoming unbearable, the nausea is setting in and you can’t seam to remember your name. Common sense should dictate this is not a great idea. However they push on as if there was noting wrong. When they expire, they let them lie where they fall. To the astute this would seam to be a crime against humanity, However the consensus seams to be that it is the Americans to the north who make it hard for them to cross their borders who are the inhumane. Some Christian organizations have decided to aid the suffering by erecting and maintaining water stations in the desert. At these sites they are provided with a tank full of water for their bottles and their bandanas along with a place to relax in the shade. It is widely known where these sites are but the Border Patrol does not go there to find Illegals. Why would this be, do they feel it is cheating to go where they are to find them? Do they not want to disrupt the operation because it saves lives? Do they not want to stop illegal aliens from coming into the country? Or is it that they are so afraid of the lawsuit they may suffer if they do their Job. There is no doubt that it is a bad thing to have anyone die, especially in this manner. You can argue all day long how giving them water is a good humane thing to do, and no doubt it saves lives. But think of one thing, what if they were never allowed to start the journey? If they were never in our desert would they die this terrible death? Not likely. If the American Government was to seal the border there would be no more deaths in this manner. Nobody could argue against this fact. Another Common occurrence in our desert is the mistreatment of Illegals durring their journey. A good friend of mine, named Armando who is a janitor came to this country Illegally. Told me about his journey to this country. He told me that when the sun went down everything changed. They made the journey to a Mexican Army installation just south of the border. The soldiers gave them water, fed them and gave them a place to lay down and sleep. When he and his wife laid down to go to sleep the soldiers came in and beat him so bad that his eyes swelled shut. They then proceeded to take turns raping his wife. He told me that though he was glad he couldn’t see them repeatedly rape his wife, he heard every scream and plea as she begged them to stop, Finally they threw her on top of him and he held her as she sobbed for what seemed to be hours. The fact is that the scum that brings them across the border don’t care about them or their well being. The only thing they want is their share of the $2500.00 fee they are charged. Armando’s Grandmother started the journey with them but disappeared. When he finally made it to Phoenix the family was contacted and told that they either had to come up with $25,000.00 or they would kill grandma. Armando stated that it took months to come up with the money and he personally delivered the money to rescue grandma. Upon delivery they showed him into a room where Grandma was Dead. Armando said she was probably dead for some time. To add insult to injury they dropped him off in the desert and pushed an emergency button alerting the Border Patrol to his location. . Many arguments have been made how hindering the free movement of illegals into America is a violation of their rights. A sane mind would have to argue against this rationale, number one who gave them the right to enter the country. Their argument is like saying that since that person has already broke into your house they should have the right to sit down in your lazy chair, watch your TV and Eat your food. The fact is in this scenario they person who has entered your house has more rights then you do. Even if you have a gun you have no right to pull it out and point it at him unless you feel that your life is in danger. The fact is he could finish his meal, smile at you, and walk out and you cant touch him. When will rational minds prevail? When will the government see that this is wrong in every since of the word? The View of the Illegal Aliens is an interesting one. It is common knowledge that it is taught in Mexican schools that the big bad Americans took our land and refuses to give it back. Why wouldn’t they follow someone who steps up and says lets go get our land back. For some strange reason the American Government sits buy and does nothing to help ease the suffering of the American people. It appears that the view of the American Government is that we need the Illegal Alien here for our benefit. Could this possibly be the reason they allow them to infiltrate our land and disrespect us and take advantage of us? The Mexican people have a saying and that is Bendejo Americans (Stupid Americans), And oh how right they are. What other country will just allow people to walk into their country and do nothing to stop them? The answer is none, we are the only country that will allow our people to be walked on. It appears the American government feels there are two benefits to having Illegal Aliens in this country. One is they feel that in order to be competitive in the world market the country has to turn out product at a lower cost. So the though is, if they are here in the country then they don’t fall under Federal laws that mandate a minimum wage, Workers Comp, Insurance, Vacation, as well as all of the other benefits all Americans Demand. This translates into lower cost per unit (all profit) and a more competitive bottom line. It appears the second benefit to allowing Illegal Aliens is the more you are given the more you will appreciate. The Republican Party may feel that the election was way to tight this last time, they are looking for swing voters who can push them over the top in the near future. Though the thought of being more competitive is a good thought, there is another side to this coin. These workers are not given the benefits that Americans are given so when one of their many family members gets sick or hurt, who is going to pay the hospital bill? One thing is certain, it won’t be them. The fact is the cost of those products is higher then what is on their books. In order to get a true number, all of the cost must be analyzed, such as Healthcare, Education, Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Welfare, and the cost of incarceration and border security. “Illegal Alien households are estimated to use $2,700 a year more in services than they pay in taxes, creating a total fiscal burden of nearly $10.4 billion on the federal budget� (www.cis.org). “Among the largest federal cost: Medicaid ( $2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured (2.2 billion);food assistance programs ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion)� (www.cis.org). This side of the coin is certainly uglier then what the government wants you to know. It certainly appears that when you put the cost together it isn’t more competitive, the difference is that the American people are forced to augment the production costs. The theory of importing votes for the swing vote is also a good thought in theory but one must look at one very big factor, will the faithful still be so faithful to a government that has sold them out time and time again? All indications suggest no. One thing appears painfully clear and that is the fact that the Government has decided to do what it wants and cares nothing about the people. This Government was created of the people, by the people for the people. The American people have become complacent with the fact that the Government will not represent them, and it will stay that way until they stand up for what is right and demand that the Government start to represent them. The President of the United States Continues to pursue expansion of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in a new movement called the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). This even though Economist have been very critical of the success of NAFTA. A person of sane mind has to take a step back and ask what in the hell is going on here. In a movement of Patriotic Americans who call themselves Minutemen (named after minutemen of old), have stepped up have taken it upon themselves to do the Job that the American Government won’t do. In the month of April 2005 the Minutemen shut down 23 miles of the Arizona Border with Mexico. This was done with just a bunch of untrained Americans with a love for this country, where the thousands of ICE agents couldn’t do it. While in the Planing stages there were many in opposition to the project. It became apparent that the people who were standing up against the movement must stand to loose much if the border was shut down, but what was it that they were going to loose. Could it be that they were going to loose, money from the Drug Smuggling operations that were stopped during the Minuteman Project? Could it be that these people stood to loose kickback monies from the smuggling operations? Could it be that they stood to loose monies from the employers that entice the Illegal Aliens to cross the border to be enslaved? The President of Mexico Vacente Fox described them as Vigilantes and vowed to sue America in an international Court if The Government did not stop them (where does he get off?). The Mayor of Douglas Arizona Stated that they are a Bunch of lawless vigilantes and they were not welcome in his city (what is he loosing?).
