Well I sure hope this crackdown movement starts making it's way up here to Chicago. We're overwhelmed with illegals over here.

You're exactly right, Marci and Jean!! So true!! Start at the top.

I was thinking, we have this huge IRS that doesn't contribute to solving our problems, yet has over 100,000 people in that agency. If we passed the FairTax and abolished the IRS, look at all those computer-trained and complex document professionals who could be transferred to work in immigration control, from doing background checks, E-Verify, birth certification verification, tax fraud, social security fraud, illegal remittances (money sent out of the country by illegal aliens), drug cartel money-laundering, and even work as immigration judges to fast-track these deportations.

There is no reason for an immigration judge to have a law degree. That's the ABA, American Bar Association, that lobbied for that. Stupid. Repeal that poop immediately. Maybe a college degree or comparable work experience should be required. I've have no problem with that. Immigration Judges are there to determine one thing, are you in the country legally or not. They are not there to render decisions on sob stories or other complex alien history. These are decisions no different than the ones made by TSA and Customs Inspectors or Border Patrol. The hearing is just to have a third party competent person verify the facts of legal status for deportation.
