Trump thanked for spotlighting immigration issue

An immigration enforcement activist is praising Donald Trump for bringing attention to a tragic murder in San Francisco, allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant who had been deported five times.
Kathryn (Kate) Steinle, 32, was walking on San Francisco's Pier 14 with her father on July 1 when she was shot and killed, allegedly by a man who police say is in the country illegally and who, in addition to his deportations, has seven prior felony convictions.
William Gheen says the case wouldn't be big news if it weren't for Trump. "The only reason that people around America even know that that's happening is because Donald Trump brought it up," says the president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC).
"If [he] had not made comments that he's under fire for and then tried to use the story to defend himself, most Americans would not know [about it], as most Americans are not allowed to be told about the thousands of Americans that are being murdered by illegal immigrants every year."
Gheen suggests that Trump needs to drop his idea that current illegal aliens can stay in the U.S., provided they are productive.
"If the current illegal aliens in America stay, they will eventually become Democrat socialist voters, enough to overcome Republicans and conservatives in this country forever more," he argues. "He doesn't have to come out and say [he's] going to deport them all."
But what Trump does need to say, according to Gheen, is that as president he is going to enforce existing immigration laws as demanded by Congress, the Constitution, and the American people.

Exactly right. Take away the incentives and illegal aliens will leave voluntarily. As Mitt Romney called it "self deportation."
If Trump would just get off of the "I have a scheme for a good amnesty" bandwagon he would probably be the best candidate for patriots fighting open borders/amnesty. He would get overwhelming support from them.

    Trump for President?

Not unless he comes out against a path to legalization for illegals (amnesty).

    Disappointing words from John Jordan

With the below statement, it seems JJ doesn't care about American citizens and does not mention being offended at all by the crimes against us by illegals that are criminals and should not be here - if immigration laws were enforced, background and health checks, and reasonable numbers of immigrants allowed to enter the country, we would not be mourning and living in fear without protection from our government as citizens should have.

“Someone in the party ought to start some sort of petition saying, ‘If Trump’s going to be on the stage, I’m not going to be on there with him,’” Republican donor John Jordan told The Associated Press on Monday, according to a report published Tuesday. “I’m toying with the idea of it.”

“It’s something I feel strongly about as somebody who not only cares about the Republican Party, but also Latinos,” he added.

Another mouthpiece that fails to differentiate between illegal foreign nationals of Hispanic decent and legal american citizens of Hispanic decent.

JJ is a top GOP donor and I am offended @ his disregard for our lives. Found no email address for JJ & GOP site does not have an email contact address only "connect" sites which I don't use. JJ needs to get some rebuttals on his statement that disregards our citizens. Trump could have better phrased his message but it is perfectly understood especially with the recent coverage of Americans killed.
