TUCSON SUPERINTENDENT BACKS DOWN FROM PLAN TO CHANGE RADICAL CURRICULUM

The Tucson Unified School District superintendent in the middle of a push to have a radical Mexican-American studies class changed to an elective, has now backed down from his position, even going as far as to issue an apology. The change follows two wild demonstrations at consecutive school board meetings, one in which students chained themselves to desks, and another in which the riot police were called in.



Superintendent John Pedicone told local station KOLD-TV that he sent a letter to UNIDOS — the radical student group opposing the change — and the Mexican American Studies Community Advisory Board saying he has now advised the TUSD governing board to “table and not consider the resolution to make Mexican American Studies an elective.â€

It's not fair to American kids that they are now "stuck" in the middle of this foul illegal alien problem in our Country! Thank all the pro-amnesty supporters (including government) for putting them in a position where they are directly affected by the negative impacts they have caused. They have to face anchors in school who they and their families steal jobs from them when they should all have after school and summer jobs. Our kids are being used as pawns and forced into supporting their Country or giving into the illegals. It has put them in a position to feel like racist if they stand up for their OWN Country. We teach our children values in America, and they are seeing illegals tear their values apart.

Lets see, two weeks ago this guy was strongly against it and now he is apologizing to these Crazy Kids..........Hummmmmm

Smells like he was threatened by someone on the left who wants this to pass......

Too bad he lost his nerve...... Hard fights are just that HARD, you win some and you loose some..... But you DON'T JUST GIVE UP!

This guy needs to be replaced.Thats the trouble now to many people backing down and giving in to them.I say one thing i wont back down from them or anybody else.There is only one man i back down from and thats my dad,but to illegals you better back up JACK.

Also check out his bank accounts as well to make sure he wasn't paid off.

He needs to be removed and the parents need to really protest at the next schoolboard meeting as well. They need a show of force to stop this crap education.

This man lives in a liberal nutjob area where the local government is moving to succeed from the rest of the state and form Baja Arizona. The local government was elected. His area is pretty much lost to the United States. No doubt he's been threatened, so what he's doing is allowing this matter to go to the state level. Hopefully, some people are still Americans and sane there. Classes teaching the overthrow of the government to form Atzlan will likely be ruled illegal and this guy won't have to lose his family, house, and car to anarchists.
