80% of the citizens of North Carolina oppose this bill and similar measures to afford ILLEGAL people more rights and US Citizens. This is NUTS. Sorry for being so emotional on this issue but lets look at the big picture. If someone is illegal... they are JUST THAT...ILLEGAL.

Illegal defined by Websters is: "Prohibited by law." So lets get this straight. Someone who is prohibited by law is going to go to college cheaper than a LEGAL, TAXPAYING student from lets say Virginia or South Carolina.

I know that Rep. Barnhart has adopted kids from countries outside of the US. I am sure that is why this usually loyal Republican is sounding like a bleeding heart liberal. I am sure the voters in Cabarrus county won't forget this next year.

Get over the issue of our country being a country of immigrants. All countries are. You should also realize our ancestors came here legally, learned our language and culture, and proudly called themselves Americans when they became citizens by following the law. Most illegal foreigners that are here now, feel that they are entitled to everything under the sun, including health care, child care, housing, education, food stamps, etc, and they pledge allegience to their home country, not ours.
