UPS makes $750K grant to National Council of La Raza Comments (1)


United Parcel Service Inc. gave $750,000 to Hispanic civil rights group National Council of La Raza (NCLR) to help that organization develop programs and services for Latino communities.

The grant will go to NCLR’s Campaign for Stronger American Communities to provide direct services or advocacy for millions of Latinos in education, health, home ownership and workforce development.

Atlanta-based UPS (NYSE: UPS) has worked with NCLR since 1982 and is the 2009 Title Sponsor of Latino Expo USA, which will be held at the NCLR 2009 Annual Conference, July 25–27 in Chicago.

SOBS! (Not to be taken in any way as representing crying.) Just wonder how many illegals of the Tan Klan they are hiring?

Our representatives have given a new meaning to the word discrimination. Why do we even have these organizations. They are very discriminatory. Why do we give one race advantage over another race. Even thou the Civil War was fought for several reasons, one was to dissove slavery and discrimination. But today, we have "special" races, and being white isn't one of these "special" races. What we have in this country is rampant discrimintation.

Yes but is seems Latin Americans are the most special of all the races. No other race is allowed to disregard so many of our laws and rewarded for doing so!!! I guess our politicians actually do think they are La Raza Cosmica, a superior fourth race created by God from the previously existing three races.
