EL PASO, Texas -- After two undocumented immigrants were hit on the Border Highway this week, some are questioning the safety on motorists on the stretch of road.
"Basically, sometimes you see kids with bicycles running up and down which is dangerous," said Christine Johnson, an area resident.
Johnson has lived just yards from the Border Highway for years, and in that time she has seen many people walking along the highway just inches from the speeding traffic, some of them most likely undocumented immigrants.
Thursday night an immigrant was hit by a car on the Border Highway near Yarbrough as they attempted to cross. It makes the second time someone was hit in less than a week. Despite that, U.S. Border Patrol claims they are doing their job.

It's probably like hitting a deer - it damages your vehicle and counts against your insurance. To be just, the poor motorist's insurance company should be able to sue Mexico for cost of damages to the vehicle. (I am assuming American citizens hit the illegal invaders).
Two less criminals to prey on American citizens.WHERE'S THE REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, Barry? I still question your citizenship.

My first reaction is: good job, since two have been killed on your watch. The second reaction is unpublishable."It endangers both the traveling public and the migrants themselves, and that's why we’re there to prevent them from coming in," Cordero said.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
