Border Patrol: 30 Undocumented Immigrants Taken Into Custody

LA JOYA - Border Patrol Agents say they took 30 undocumented immigrants into custody Saturday morning. The crash happened early in the morning north of La Joya at 4 Mile Line and FM 2221.
Border Patrol agents attempted to pull over a van when the passengers bailed out of the vehicle and ran.
Agents say the 30 apprehended are from Central and South America, one is female and three are juveniles.
No word on whether the smuggler was caught or how many others may have escaped.
