Border Patrol canines thwarted two separate attempts to smuggle illegal aliens and drugs across the border.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said one of the incidents occurred Friday morning as Border Patrol agents performed a routine immigration inspection on the driver of a tractor-trailer at the Laredo North station on IH-35. During the inspection a Border Patrol canine sniffed out 15 undocumented aliens hiding in the trailer.
On Thursday night, a pickup truck carrying a load of household furnishings pulled in for inspection at the Freer station checkpoint on U.S. Highway 59. While agents conducted the inspections, a Border Patrol canine team alerted officers to the possible presence of hidden people or contraband in the bed of the truck. In the subsequent inspection, officers uncovered seven large cellophane-wrapped bundles inside a wooden armoire. The bundles contained 339.6 pounds of marijuana, which has an estimated value of $271,680.

The Rin Tin Tin kennel which has the rights to Rin Tin Tin is in Hereford, Texas.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
