I have often wondered who voted for Perry in the past and why. Still do not have an answer to either.

Found this old press release when Perry Announces Appointment of
Hope Andrade, Ted Houghton To Transportation Commission in 2003. This quote tells you everthing you need to know. Chamber of Commerce, who knew, sounds like another Elitist Contributor.

"Andrade also served as chair of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 1998, and currently serves on the board of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the United Way of San Antonio board."

I was born and raised in Texas and lived here most of my life. I'm sad to
say that Texas is fast going the same way as California.

There's a truck stop about a block away from my house on HWY 59 which
is one of the main feeders to the superhighway. In the past few months
the amount of truck traffic through there has tripled. In the mornings, the
parking lot is so full that trucks are parked in the street. Most of them are
coming up from the Rio Grande Valley and what creeps me out are the
unmarked trucks, no logos and no TXDOT codes. Also there has been
a major increase in the number of gangbangers hanging around there.
Not wannabes but the big guys with gothic lettered tatoos and shaved
    heads.

I'm sorry to say but as soon as it's financially feasable I'm moving my
family out of the state to somewhere where we might stand a chance.

Thank you Govener Perry, Sheila Jackson - Lee and Kay Baily Hutchinson
for giving my home to the invaders.
