Machete wielding boy arrested by Border Patrol

Border Patrol agents arrested a 14-year-old boy Thursday near Ysleta after he illegally entered the United States and threatened agents with a machete, officials announced Friday.
Border Patrol reported watching the boy cross the Rio Grande one mile east of the Ysleta Port of Entry.

As the agent approached, the boy brandished a machete and began to wave it at the agent, said officials.

Border Patrol said the agent drew his gun as the boy approached, instructing him to drop the machete.

According to officials the boy placed the blade against his own neck, claiming to have poison in his veins and asked the agent to shoot him.

Additional agents arrived and after over 20 minutes of negotiations the boy was placed into custody without further incident, said officials.

Well ain't that just grand...not only an illegal alien but a mental case as well. Viva la invader!

Rep Jones(R) of NC recently introduced a bill that would require the federal gov't to build the double layered fence by mid 2009! I believe it's HB73 (relying on memory). Find your US Rep at www.vote-smart.org
