The Democratic Party is spending nearly 100 million dollars raised in part from foreign contributions to help elect more immigration reform minded men and women to Congress.

If you happen to be a conservative of the Grand Old tea Party variety, how does such startling “amnestyâ€

Never mind the foreigners that contributed to the Obama campaign. All those pre-paid credit cards. All the contributions ending in odd change, signs of being converted from foreign currency. Dems are getting desparate if they continue to pursue this line of attack.

Glenn Reynolds nails this one: the Obama Democrats’ campaign riff against foreign donations to Democrats is bogus—and according to the New York Times, no less. This looks like a matter of projection, since it’s well documented that the 2008 Obama campaign did not put in place address verification software that would have routinely prevented most foreign donations. In effect they were encouraging donations by foreign nationals. Here’s the Washington Post on this back in October 2008:

Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor’s identity, campaign officials confirmed. Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides acknowledged.â€

While I think the US Chamber of Commerce should be disbanded by force of law for treason against the American public, I take issue with this statement.

"Democratic efforts to stop sending American jobs overseas to other countries are just the tip of the issues iceberg. "

The Democratic Party has long since been hijacked by foreign funds just like the GOP. Does this author forget how the Chinese infiltrated our government so efficiently under Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton that they stole our secrets from Los Alamos labs so they can now nuke DC as well as CA? Did this writer forget the Chinese fund raisers for the Clintons and Gores?

No, there are not top level "Democratic efforts to stop sending American jobs overseas"

Americans have been betrayed by the top echelons of both parties and both parties are beholden to the Chicoms and Saudis.
