Controversial illegal immigration bill passed by House committee

Another controversial bill about illegal immigrants was passed in the House committee this morning.

Representative Chris Herrod, of Provo, sponsored the bill and as we told you yesterday he's gotten threats because of it.

It allows the state to sue to recoup the expenses spent on medical treatment for illegal immigrants.

It now goes on to the full House.
