    If they have anything that lets them be here, they will vote something the Democrats are salivating over.
    The sad part is, if they do vote, they will be voting for people that have the same ideas as the people that ran the countries that they left.

    That article states that Indiana and Maine have gotten a similar compact-does this mean both states now have amnesty like Utah?

    But have they already done what Utah has done, along with Indiana? That article seemed to say so, along with other states heading in the direction of the Utah Compact.

    Maine Businesses Model Immigration Proposal Utah Compact

    A group of Maine business leaders create the "Maine Compact" immigration reform proposal, which, like a similar effort in Utah, "is intended to discourage Maine from adopting an Arizona-style immigration policy."

    "Immigration has always been a positive force in the Maine economy," David Barber, President and CEO of Barber Foods, said in a written announcement. "We urge our fellow business leaders and policy makers in Augusta to take a calm, rational approach to the immigration debate."

    The Maine Compact calls on Maine policymakers to ensure that immigration policy affirms individual opportunity and promotes Maine’s reputation as a welcoming and business-friendly state.

    According to the group, Arizona suffered economic losses in the millions of dollars after passing a controversial "show-me-your-papers" law to fight illegal immigration.

    In case you missed it; the GOP isn UT is mounting an online petition that we are told by others is not legal to repeal hb 116.

    Better late then never but the real test is next march during the caucuses.
