Woman Accused of Brutal Child Abuse

A horrific case of child abuse allegedly involving the mother of three children from West Valley City.

According to police, 21-year-old Emperatriz Meza-Reyna severely beat her 7-year-old daughter, who is now in a coma at Primary Children’s Medical Center.

“The child was either struck with an object at high velocity or used to be swung or shoved at a hard object,â€

In January Meza-Reyna was convicted of two counts of child abuse for severely beating the same child. According to the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s office which handled that case and court documents, Meza-Reyna used a belt to beat the girl.

So this illegal invader was convicted of child abuse in January and already has her three kids back! Someone screwed that one up? Then she goes out and puts one in a coma! Why wasn't this psycho deported 6 months ago! She is a convicted criminal.

why the hell wasnt this woman in jail and ALL THREE CHILDREN NOT removed from the house.

Granted, US cititizens have done some heinous things to their children, but we need not import child abuse. It is SICK across the board.

Mom's punishment should be death. Another "winner" for Obama, Reid, Nappy, and Emanuel to welcome with open arms. Give her a green card, Barry, so as to stop separation of "family"...

Even though I think anchors should also be deported, I am so sorry to hear about any child being abused.

I agree about the child abuse. Zero tolerance. You can "patch up" physical damage, but emotional scars are not so easily repaired.

Oh, the Bush thing... "We'll dang, the family seemed to be gettin' along purty well while they was hikin' across the desert"...

I certainly am not making levity out of this situation. Let us be honest. Exactly who is responsible for the care of the comatose little girl who has a psychologically damaged illegal alien mother?
