Van gets stuck atop metal barrier at U.S.-Mexico border

IMPERIAL SAND DUNES, Calif.—A van that illegally crossed a remote, desert stretch of the U.S-Mexico border got stuck atop a metal barrier after a makeshift ramp collapsed under its weight.
The blue Chevrolet Astro crossed the border Wednesday and headed a short distance north toward Interstate 8, the main road linking San Diego and Phoenix, said Border Patrol spokesman Enrique Lozano. The driver tried to scale the Border Patrol barrier near the freeway and got stuck.

The Border Patrol does not know how many were inside because the vehicle was abandoned.

No one was detained.

One got stuck, but there were probably three others that went before it over the same ramp.

We need Duncan Hunter's double layered security fence, not barriers that don't work! Where do you think the illegals that piled out of the van went? We all know the answer to that - every last one of them crawled under the barrier - it was as easy as crouching down to kiss your three year olds cheek.
