The guy with the night stick was arrested but not charged with a Federal crime. I think they just removed him.

It is normal and quiet here, nothing reportable, or even out of the ordinary, thank goodness.

There appear to be a lot of "do as I say, not as I do" things going on in this race.

This is such 3rd world country stuff, it's amazing to see it happening here. Isn’t this the type of intimidation that caused Saddam Husain to continue to be "voted" into power?

Personally, I'll be very happy when the whole thing is over. It'll be interesting to see how many other issues like this occur all sides. Somehow, I think it'll be slanted more heavily in one direction...

Concern over an arrest sparking a major violent incident may be why the police removed him instead of arresting him.

With it being such a volatile environment right now, where even the simplest of things could set off a major riot, they may simply be choosing to resolve issues without an arrest if they absolutely don't have to make one.

And I totally agree with you about the similarities to Third World politics. Everything about this particular election.......Obama's refusal to answer questions/explain anything, the massive voter fraud, the intimidation, attempts at silencing critics or "dissenters", the whole laundry list of things we've witnessed.....is straight out of that playbook.

Yes, it's how Sadaam Huessin and any other number of dictators, tyrrants, etc. get into office and maintain that office

Only the thought of Pelosi, Reid and Frank in bed with Obama makes me sick... I grew up in a socialist country and let me tell you, America will fall apart from within if this happens. I love America and I don't want Socialism here. For the first time in my life, I am so scared for our future and for our children's future. You will see all the Ayers and Wrights in the government and we will not be able to stop them. God help us...It's scary!!
