The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 was passed to prevent US military personnel from acting as law enforcement agents on US soil. The Act can be overridden by the president in cases of extreme emergencies. Obviously President Trump does not consider our border situation extreme. If Trump were to override the Posse Comitatus Act, the Democrats and left leaning media would have a field day crucifying him for it.

Posse Comitatus has never applied to stopping illegal immigration and foreign invasions at our borders, so one can only wonder why you and others keep bringing it up as an excuse to disrupt that mission.

You're not paying attention. It's not me and others bringing it up that is of issue here. It's the fact that our President and U.S. Congress don't consider what is happening at the border an invasion. Perhaps you should spend more time taking it up with them and less time criticizing those of us attempting to enlighten you of the situation. Explaining the situation to you is not making excuses or supporting what's going on.
