Woman charged with identity theft

A 27-year-old Honduran woman in this country illegally was arrested for identity theft and related charges after she appeared in court using another woman’s name, police said today.
Rosario A. Pineda-Sierra, of Delmar, was charged with three counts of forgery, identity theft, criminal impersonation, third-degree assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, said Cpl. Bruce Harris.
Pineda-Sierra reported to Justice of the Peace Court 7 on Wednesday to answer charges of an unrelated driving offense and signed her name as Gabriela Alvarado.
State troopers were then sent for because Alvarado had an outstanding warrant against her stemming from a domestic assault in May 2009, Harris said.
At that point troopers arrested Alvarado on charges of third-degree assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
She was later arraigned and released on bail, Harris said.
After she was released, agents from the Vermont section of Immigration and Customs Enforcement notified police that Gabriela Alvarado was an alias for Pineda-Sierra.
The Vermont ICE agents discovered her identity through the fingerprints that police in Delaware took. Troopers then called Alvarado and asked her to come to Troop 5 in Bridgeville.
When she arrived, she was arrested on the outstanding identity theft, forgery and criminal impersonation charges, and re-arrested under her real identity on the assault and endangering crimes, Harris said.
Pineda-Sierra is being held in the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in lieu of $10,000 cash bail with a detainer issued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

This kind of thing goes on everyday in America. They know by useing fake names it makes it harder to catch, plus the more names more free stuff they recieve from goverment. Its a dam shame they are alowed to rape this country of everything they can, when we as Americans have to fight to get a little justice. If i had the way to do it id buy me a cattle truck round them up drive them to the border and kick them back across to where they comr from.
