Thread: White House Invites DREAMer to State of Union

On Tuesday, a DREAMer from Texas will be sitting with First Lady Michelle Obama during President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.

The White House officially announced that Ana Zamora will join 21 others as Michelle Obama’s guests tomorrow evening in her box.

Zamora, 21, reportedly wrote Obama a letter last fall thanking him for his executive amnesty.

“I was blown away. I’m humbled,” Zamora told the Dallas Morning News. “I never thought that a letter to the president would welcome me to the White House.”

Zamora qualified for Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and her parents will reportedly qualify for Obama’s most recent executive amnesty, which will protect the parents of U.S. citizens from deportation. Though Zamora, along with her parents, were illegal immigrants, Zamora’s parents will qualify because her brother and sister were reportedly born in America.

The House recently passed a Homeland Security spending bill that defunds DACA and Obama’s most recent executive amnesty, but Obama has vowed to veto any bill that defunds either action.

Well, this family certainly exemplifies the whole issue of illegal immigration. Illegal alien with parents stealing jobs from Americans while filing tax returns to collect tax credit welfare and other welfare to boot with children who are also illegal aliens taking up space in schools unprepared and unfunded to educate them who take advantage of free school lunch program, and other welfare, charity and tax credit welfare programs, who then have 2 more children born here that the government declares are US citizens who are eligible for all welfare programs, tax credit welfare and so forth are being invited to sit with the First Lady on the night of the State of the Union.

Bills like the Universal E-Verify bill would prevent the parents from stealing jobs from Americans, and Steve King's bill that ends automatic birthright citizenship of children born to illegal aliens would prevent this unnatural and unaffordable population growth, and the FairTax that among other tremendous benefits ends tax credit welfare are so important to solving this horrific problem for the United States.

This State of the Union will highlight the biggest cause of illegal immigration which is ..... the White House, regardless of who occupies it. This President ... wow .... has he highlighted the problem by taking it to an all new level of bold insult to the people of the United States?

How dare a President wave his crime of aiding and abetting illegal aliens in the US by inviting one to sit with the First Lady during the State of the Union and mock our citizens?

Isn't there some procedure to go through before someone is allowed into the US Capitol Building during a session? Doesn't the US Congress control that? Zamora as an illegal alien shouldn't be allowed into the US Capitol Building with or without the First Lady. Congress needs to prohibit her entry and that of her family if they're planning on attending with her into the House of Representatives. We need a quick notification to members of Congress to prevent this circus. And who paid her way? Who is paying for her expenses?

Zamora is cautious about what she reveals about her parents. The White House described them as a small-business owner and a construction worker.


Zamora said her parents had planned to return to Mexico, but they established themselves in Dallas and then her brother was born. He was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3.


“That drove them to stay here,” she said, “because the hospital and the help and the kind of doctors that were here was just much more advanced.”

No, you mean is was free through Medicaid.

This is just sickening. The perfect storm of the adverse impact of illegal immigration. The parents steal jobs and deflate wages and businesses from Americans, their anchor babies rob Medicaid, and all their children take seats in unfunded unprepared public and charter schools, sign up for everything, and then of course steal seats from American Kids in college and then take the good jobs because of Affirmative Action, a program I support with the exception of its use in employing illegal aliens and the children of illegal aliens.

It's disgusting.
