An internal ICE e-mail disputes that. It says, "This is not the first time this has happened at Cook...We have subjects that get transferred to Cook County and the detainers get lost."
We know Cook County recognizes itself as a sanctuary city. Does ICE also recognize their official sanctuary policy? An official with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) assures that the federal immigration hold had been issued when Dominguez was in custody in both Racine and Cook counties. Both agencies claim they had no record of an immigration detainer when Dominguez was released from jail.
[b]Sue these local law enforcement agencies [i] for injuries they cause in the performance of their official duties in cases where the injured party alleges that the employee engaged in “wanton or reckless conduct.â€

There should be a huge fat lawsuit slapped on the state and federal government each time things like this happen. To think these clowns are suing Americans to aid and abet illegal immigrants just makes my blood boil.
