Will the Right boost Romney?

Whether it will make any difference remains to be seen, but as FOX News starts questioning McCain's conservative creds with more heat, Romney is starting to pick up some steam from the Right.

Today he picks up the backing of Rep. Lynn Westmoreland from Georgia, which could be a boon to him in that state on Feb. 5. He also scored former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum's backing today. Although Santorum lost by a whopping 18 points to Democrat Bob Casey in his 2006 race, he was not too long ago considered a standard bearer of the conservative wing of the party. His name was also tossed around as a presidential prospect.

Conservative talking heads Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham have also broadcast that they, too, will be voting for Mitt Romney. And as two of the most well-known conservative commentators, that may provide something of a boost.

The callers into the conservative talk radio shows this morning are all alarmed and upset at the prospect of a John McCain presidency and his liberal record. Many are saying if he wins the nom, they won't vote for him. Hopefully, we won't be faced with this choice.

Vote for Mitt.

Rush Limbaugh's substitute today is hitting hard on this, McCain's liberal record and conservatives. How Dick Morris is liberal; GOP is trying to mold the GOP into a more Democratic moderate image. We're sick of it.
