    Immigration Scam

Woman busted for allegedly selling fake documents to illegals.

EDINBURG - An Edinburg woman was arrested for trying to sell fake citizenship documents to illegals.

Alamo and Donna police charged Jennifer Lee Martinez with five counts of theft. They say she posed as an immigration department employee and promising papers to undocumented immigrants.

The victims allegedly paid her thousands of dollars. Police tell us Martinez was also running a furniture scam. We're told she took money for used furniture but never delivered it.

If you were a victim of these scams, you're asked to call Alamo police at 787-1454.

It seems alot of this is going on...the case on the Indian Reservation, remember that....

wouldn't most people be smart enough to know if it is legal citizenship papers it would have to come from the federal government in a federal building not a back room somewhere.
