The judges order was obviously no less than 4 hours notice. This statement by Marion County doesn't excuse them, if that's why they issued this ridiculous "statement". The people in Indiana know better than this flimsy response to their having released a dangerous person onto the streets of their county and our country.

According to court documents, she posted a $250 cash bond to be released on Thursday.

    Four hours?

Then let's not forget that they let a person who fled the scene of the accident, a definite flight risk if you ask me, out on $250 bail. STUPID!

Federal Judge Releases Illegal Alien Who Rammed Car into Daycare Center

    by WARNER TODD HUSTON
    12 May 2018

A federal judge released an illegal alien who has now disappeared after being taken into custody for allegedly ramming a car into a daycare center, causing serious injuries to a teacher.

Juana Loa-Nunez was arrested on May 7 after she allegedly crashed her car into a church daycare center and then fled the scene, WTHR Channel 13 reported.

One teacher, Jessica Parks, was hit during the accident and suffered a broken leg and other injuries.

Loa-Nunez is reportedly an illegal alien who has no driver’s license. She was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, but by Friday, authorities released the suspect from jail without notifying U.S. immigration officials. The suspect has since disappeared, authorities said.

The sheriff’s department was severely criticized by Ricardo Wong, head of the ICE Chicago field office, who called the release “brazen.”

“Without any regard for the safety of its citizens, on May 10,” Wong wrote in a press release, “Marion County brazenly ignored an immigration detainer and released a Mexican woman from its jail without first notifying ICE.”

“Marion County allowed this woman to go free, and she continues to be a danger to anyone else who happens to be on the same road she drives,” Wong pointedly added.

But Marion County sheriffs deflected the criticism by saying a federal judge ordered them to release the suspect.

“Judge Sarah Evans Barker has ruled that ICE must provide a criminal warrant or a criminal probable cause affidavit for the County to detain undocumented individuals. ICE failed to provide such documentation, despite receiving timely notice. Thus, ICE allowed this individual to go free,” the sheriff’s department retorted in a release of its own.

The sheriff’s department added that immigration is a federal matter and not an Indiana law enforcement issue and noted that if ICE has a problem, it should take it up with Judge Barker, a Ronald Reagan appointee who has been on the bench since 1984.

Loa-Nunez posted a $250 cash bond on May 10 and then disappeared, according to reports.

The pastor of the church the suspect damaged was stunned by her release.

“That’s just a travesty of justice. This is not the way it should work,” Pastor James Jackson told the media.

She will just pop up somewhere else. $250.00 is ridiculous.

Woman in country illegally, is a no-show for court hearing in hit-and-run case

    PUBLISHED: AUG 23RD, 2018 - 5:25PM (EDT)UPDATED: AUG 24TH, 2018 - 8:47AM (EDT)
INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — There is a warrant out for the arrest of an accused hit-and-run driver.

    Juana Loa-Nunez was a no-show for a court for a hearing Thursday.

Loa-Nunez is in the country illegally.

The decision to release her on bond sparked a dispute between ICE and the Marion County Jail over who was to blame.

Police say Loa-Nunez hit and critically injured a day care teacher in May. Jessica Parks was crossing 38th Street to go to work when she was hit.

Loa-Nunez told police that Jessica Parks "crossed out of nowhere."

She admitted to not getting out of the car to help the teacher despite seeing her down on the ground.

IMPD caught up with Loa-Nunez nearby after witnesses boxed in her car to stop her from escaping.

Parks was left in critical condition and told us from her hospital bed, she forgave Loa-Nunez.

"I forgive her. I just want her to know that. I forgive her. If you're scared, fear can make you do some things that are unnecessary. I do forgive the woman. I pray for her and wish her the best," Parks said.

A warrant has now been issued for Loa-Nunez's arrest.

This is WHY all non-citizens need to be handed over to ICE.

Get them OUT of the local and state jurisdiction...out of their jails and prisons an out of their court system.

Put all non-citizens, illegal aliens, TPS, asylum, refugees, visa overstays in Federal Tent City on Federal Land with a panel of Federal Judges.

    No jury trial.

    No amenities.

    No visitors except via Skype!

Serve time in tent city and deport on the spot.

They should not be in courts or jails with legal US citizens.

THEY ARE NOT U.S. CITIZENS AND HAVE NO RIGHTS HERE!
ILLEGAL ALIENS HAVE "BROKEN" OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

DO NOT REWARD THEM - DEPORT THEM ALL

She should have never been given bail!

    Maybe you're both to blame!
