World opinion favours immigration restriction
World opinion favours immigration restriction
World Net Daily has posted an interesting Pew Center poll on immigration. It asks people in 47 countries whether they agree or disagree with the statement: "We should further restrict and control immigration."
And guess what? It turns out the immigration restrictionists win in 44 of the 47 countries.
Does this mean that our planet is overwhelmingly populated by racists and xenophobes? Or is it only the Western nations included in the poll that are infested with bigots? After all, I was under the impression that it was impossible for anyone but people of European ancestry to be racist.

LOL according to the Pew Poll, one of the only nations that is not worried about immigration is South Korea which is completely surrounded by ocean in three directions and has a military DMZ on their Northern border!

So Korea
LOL according to the Pew Poll, one of the only nations that is not worried about immigration is South Korea which is completely surrounded by ocean in three directions and has a military DMZ on their Northern border!
And American arms and troops to support them. Seems to me that back in 1951 they had an immigration problem and more than 50,000 Americans died trying to help them out.

One could examine the patterns or levels of immigration from very different countries as Haiti vs. Mexico. One is the poorest in the Western Hemisphere, the other relatively well off. In the case of Haiti, it is physically isolated leaving the only physical means to relocate by a regular flight/boat offshore, or, as many in desperation try to do, do an improvised makeshift boat trip out. Mexicans (and other Central/South Americans for that matter) can simply walk across the border - given some attention to planning, weather, safety, etc.
Having said the above, now think about the immigration patterns (both legal AND illegal) of countries as: Ireland, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, vs. many mainland EU countries, the US, etc. - and you'll see that physical access and ease of movement play a large role in facilitating ILLEGAL immigration disproportionately.
The economic globalists view ease of transport and movement of people and goods to be a very desirable thing - however, few, if any, ever bother to consider the downfalls of such arrangement (we should point out, that, few if any, of those which steadfastly advocate greatly economic globalization are much affected by the phenomenon - and if so, the effect is usually positive as in a self-interest way. Other working people in the society are forced to bear the brunt of the damage caused by economic globalization)
Of course, while it may be human nature for people to want to seek better economic living standards, there is no legal justification to guarantee such thing to all those same people. The responsibility to provide decent living standards to citizens of a country lies with their government.
The people who ultimately pay the price for the lowly, seeking masses from poorer countries, are the lowest/working classes from the neighboring or target (usually richer) countries.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
