The Gulf 20 years from now
Video from Brasscheck
The year 1989.
The day everything changed forever for residents of Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska.
What can Gulf of Mexico residents look forward to?
More of the same.
"You've done had some good luck and you don't realize it. We're Exxon and we do business straight."
We don't have to guess.
We've seen this movie before.

I grew up across the Kill Van Kull from Staten Island, in the town of Sewaren, NJ. Shell Oil dumped their sludge there, and eventually the water became so polluted that you could no longer swim in Sewaren Beach.
It is still off limits to swimming and fishing - more than 50 years later. You can only launch your boats there.
50 years and counting.
