Yes, Medicare will be cut by 1/2 trillion dollars to finance healthcare for illegals and Medicaid recipients. Also, under Obama's new jobs program, Medicare will be cut by another 1/4 trillion. In addition, if the "super committee" fails to reduce deficit spending, there will be automatic across-the-board cuts of 1.2 trillion, split 50-50 between defense and non-defense spending, including Medicare. Now, we all know that seniors tend to vote Republican and/or conservative, so is this another example of "punish your enemies?"
