My bad grand-dog
This is my daughter's dog Murdoc. aka my granddog
Obviously he was feeling adventurous today…
so he decided to sample one of the local inhabitants. Porcupine!
He actually looks proud of himself in this picture.
Home from the hospital and still feeling the drugs.
No prolonged suffering was endured in the taking of these pictures. I've never seen a porcupine in Texas but evidently Murdoc has. What you didn't see was the quill that was sticking out of the middle of his forehead and the ones that were in his foot. Goofy Dog!
Never a dull moment around here!

Dixie,
Thank you for posting these. That is amazing. I've never seen a pooch that tried to get hold of a porcupine before. Very lucky he did not get it in the eyes.
I'm glad you included the after picture when the quills were gone.

Poor puppy!
Now how can we use 'grandpuppy eating porcupine' as a metaphor?
I know
When illegal aliens commit crimes and get hurt, they use our health care facilities and we have to pay for it.
The grandpuppy will learn to avoid porcupines...the illegals learn to use the system!
Sorry, couldn't resist. Been a rough day !TIME'S UP!

That dog represents how George Bush felt after he called the Minutemen "Vigilantes" lol I do not think that he knew what he was biting into.

Poor dog! That looks very painful. Those quills are very long and I'm glad the vet was able to get them all out and give the pup some drugs too.
For your sake and your families, just be glad the pup didn't mess with a skunk.People who take issue with control of population do not understand that if it is not done in a graceful way, nature will do it in a brutal fashion - Henry Kendall
