    Rally held in Paterson over AZ immigration law


    (07/29/10) PATERSON - Opponents of Arizona's controversial immigration law rallied in Paterson Thursday as the law went into effect.
    A judge blocked key provisions of the law Wednesday.
    The law states that law enforcement cannot stop a person for the sole purpose of determining immigration status. However, an officer can inquire about immigration status only if a person is detained on suspicion of another crime.
    Critics say the law promotes racial profiling, especially against Latinos.

    Hey Paterson you are one of N.J.'s scummiest cities and nobody cares what you think. Hey illegals when you leave Arizona go to Paterson. For once you wont ruin a community.

    I remember on 9/11, there were scumbags dancing in the streets of Paterson. Paterson used to be a nice place, until the lawless moved in.
