I saw this at work this morning and it's been haunting me all day! What is happening to our country??????

I believe this video clip is footage that did not show you what was happening nearby.

They arrested a large group of anarchists, socialists, and communists that are notorious for provoking arrests at big events like this. The video you saw was of two or three seemingly normal people that were inside the containment area.

There are some other videos that show the anarchists nearby I believe.

There was definitely something going on there which we....perhaps conveniently?.....didn't see.

It seemed pretty apparent that the couple on the bikes were people of interest to the police for some reason, that woman did a very poor job at acting shocked, and as they were handcuffing her she appears to be smirking.

And yes, I do vaguely recall something I saw about this incident having to do with some disturbance or another so I believe you're correct W.

THANKS TO WILLIAM for clarifying this picture! Obviously, the woman was play-acting to the camera - not quite the image they were trying to convey with their "staging" of this arrest. Contrast that with this unprovoked & unwarranted arrest of teenage girls during the DNC in Denver (& be sure to read the sidebar notes for details):

Somehow, that still does not comfort me William! lol! I think we are all beginning to grow a little too accepting of seeing our police militarized like that. Even if those two kids were fakes, the line of storm trooper inspired law enforcement officials certainly were not.

There have been many reports where innocent bystanders and reporters were manhandled and arrested during the RNC for no good reason at all. Things are in fact getting way out of hand.
