Poll: Blocking the AZ Immigration Law the Right Decision?

Was Blocking the Arizona Immigration Law the Right Decision?

    By U.S. News Staff

    Posted: July 29, 2010

Arizona's controversial anti-illegal immigration law, which went into effect on Thursday, hit a snag when a federal judge stripped the provision that would have allowed police to question a suspect's immigration status. Gov. Jan Brewer said she plans to appeal U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton's decision and is willing to take it to the U.S. Supreme Court. The judge's decision has altered the dynamics of the opposition to the law, as protesters Thursday took to the streets with mixed expressions of relief and outrage.

What do you think? Was the judge right to block the law's provisions? Take our poll and post your thoughts below.
