I personally think it is too early to tell.
I just hope it doesn't turn out like the 2004 campaign where the Media basically decided who would be running.
With the Democrats, the Media was all about Howard Dean until he stuck his foot in his mouth and had a temper tantrum. Then it was all about Kerry( Mr. Permanent Foot in the Mouth). I don't think the other candidates were given serious consideration.
I have always been a Republican but if the Democrats had chosen a candidate with a clean record, wasn't among the super rich elite and who could have convinced me their agenda was doing what is right for America I would have voted for a Democrat.
Right now we are being bombarded with talk of Hillary and Obama. We all feel like we know what Hillary is all about and although there is much talk about Obama, I don't feel we know much about him. I think as we get to know what he really stands for, considring he has only been in congress 2years....that all the hoopla will fade away.
As far as the Republicans, I am not overjoyed with any of the big names, least of all McCain. Gingrich is the front runner in this poll. He has a lot of strong points but I would rather see someone come in who could give them all a run for their money. Someone who is truly committed to doing the right things for this country instead of their own agenda. Someone strong on Foreign Policy and also someone who is willing to save our country from the never ceasing Invasion of Illegals and one that will never give in to Amnesty.

I voted for Tancredo, whether or not he has a chance, just to let them know how important the anti-illegal stand is to the Republican base!

The odd thing is that the numbers and percentages they show as the poll results do not match what is contained within the forum (the link is below the graph).

I would like to see Tom Trancredo get more financial support and have
the Media take an intrest in what he is trying to do."When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty." Thomas Jefferson

Shad!
Forget the Main Stream Media, it is a lost cause. They are controlled by the globalist "One World Order" faction. You will never hear the truth from them.
You will only hear about who they are pushing and if anyone decent makes any in-roads, they will sully their name.

Darlene,
You certainly are right about the main stream media. I became very aware of that during the 2004 campaigns. It has only gotten worse since then.
If it were not controlled we would have been hearing a lot more about all the illegal aliens a long time ago. Plus a lot of other very shady things going on within our Government.
Thanks for the heads up however. There are a lot of people who say...
"That can't happen in the US."
Those people need to Wake Up!
Minnie
I was not yet aware that Gingrich was connected to the CFR.
Thanks! I plan to look at each and every one of them "Carefully""When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty." Thomas Jefferson
