Did the White House round up illegal immigrant employees across the country to create a publicity stunt, in the hopes that Americans would get the impression Bush was tough on illegal immigration?

04-20-2006, 06:24 PM #3You can't blame the people for being skeptical. But, it seems that 8 out of 10 Americans are against this amnesty and I'd imagine police officers are as outraged as the rest of us. If I could bust one and send him for the Feds to deal with, I would. It will be interesting to see what machinations they use to release them onto the street again. Judicial Watch are you watching?

It's 93% yes now. Couldn't believe some of those comments about Americans being lazy. That sort of flies in the face of logic when you look at the difference between our country and theirs.

Of course they did, and right in time for the senate to return and settle on a guest-worker plan. Bush must really think we are stupid.

This little stunt might have backfired on the feds. Seems some of the illegal advocates who were not supporting the boycott on May 1 are now fully behind it.
