...might be $200 and something, perhaps a clerical error??? I can dream can't I? 264.50 sounds about right I think.
AND THAT WOULD BE AT ABOUT 35% COMPOUNDED INTEREST OVER THAT TIME PERIOD, WHICH IS VERY HIGH ALREADY. BUT WOULD COME TO 250 BUCKS. NOWHERE NEAR THE OVER TWO THOUSAND THAT THEY ARE SAYING HE OWES THEM. JUST WONDER ...WHAT CORRUPT BOOKKEEPING IS GOING ON THERE?

Each state has to rob Us citizens blind to keep the states afloat. Unfortunately I live In Cali and look what the IA have done to the state! Hmm bet those state workers wish they weren't so pro IA right about now that they are getting paid less than the state's minimum wage level. Wonder how those workers feel in Los Angeles? IA collecting more month for their anchor babies for popping them out than for doing and honest days work, I for one would be peeved but you get what you wish for and this is just the beginning. I remember when getting a copy of a birth certificate was maybe $10 now it's more than double, everything has gone up.

Something very fishy here. Hope a lawyer comes forward and helps this poor man, and they find out just what is going on here.

IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS MAN BECAUSE HE IS UNABLE TO DEFEND HIMSELF. THEY ARE ROBBING HIM. YOU ARE RIGHT...THEY COULD JUST TAKE THE TRUCK. AND I QUESTION THE ESCALATION OF THE TICKET TO OVER TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. EVEN CREDIT CARD COMPANIES DONT ESCALATE A BILL LIKE THAT. HEC ...EVEN LOAN SHARKS DONT DO THAT. THIS IS ABUSE OF THE DISABLED.
I agree RP! It's absolutely criminal what they are doing to this poor man! I want to know how in the world a $50 ticket escalates into over $2000 dollars!

    That's criminal!!
