[Watch] Gang of Cops Kill Veteran, Father of Two in License Plate Traffic Stop

The Imperial Valley Press reports the death of 32-year-old Tommy Yancy Jr. as following “an altercation with law enforcement” during a traffic stop May 11 in Imperial. The use of the term altercation would indicate a heated, angry dispute.
Video shot by witnesses shows no aggressive behavior on the part of the victim but some very violent and deadly force being used by the deputies.
The video shows Yancy, a father of two, being beaten and tased to death by a gang of five law Imperial County Sheriff’s deputies. He had been stopped for the “serious crime” of not having a front license plate on his car.
Imperial County Sheriff deputies took Yancy from his wife and children last Sunday, Mother’s Day.
During the incident, Yancy was pulled from his vehicle and attacked by a K-9 dog, tased and beaten.
The witness who filmed the incident is heard saying, “How long before you guys call an ambulance? Call an ambulance!”
That same witness stated that the family has not been allowed to see Yancy’s body, nor have they provided them with a cause of death.
Friends described Yancy as “a very loving guy, loved his kids to death… they were his everything. A Very funny down to earth guy, and loved by all”.
Although none of the officers had any serious injuries, they will likely claim that the dead man was resisting and assaulting them, the typical “justification” for the use of excessive force.
When the loss of life under circumstances such as this is tolerated and excused by those who are supposedly sworn to protect us, we are already living under tyranny.

Veteran and father of two was stopped on his way to the store after a highway patrol officer spotted a missing front license plate on his vehicle. What transpired from this traffic stop was the unimaginable. A beating so bad by the cops that it brought about the death of this soldier.
Tommy Yancy, 32, was brutally beaten to death by five law enforcement officers during a routine traffic stop in Imperial City, California, on Mother’s Day. Yancy, a veteran who suffered from PTSD, served in Afghanistan and Iraq in the 259th Field Service Unit following the 9/11 attacks.
Officers pursued Yancy with force on claims that he swung at one of them and also attacked their K-9. He was pulled out of his car, savagely attacked by a group of police, and tazed until he finally succumbed to the beating and died as a result.
A witness, caught the entire incident on tape.
Onlookers in the area can be heard screaming, “How long before you guys call an ambulance? Call an ambulance!”
Toward the end of the beating, officers can even be seen attempting to revive Yancy, an effort that clearly failed.
According to one unnamed source, Yancy’s family has not been permitted to see his body and a cause of death has yet to be named. The main officer involved in the incident is reported to have not received any serious injuries from the attack.

It’s a travesty that this was the response and fatal result all from a traffic stop with a man who was not even resisting arrest.
