[Watch] Gang of Cops Kill Veteran, Father of Two in License Plate Traffic Stop

The Imperial Valley Press reports the death of 32-year-old Tommy Yancy Jr. as following “an altercation with law enforcement” during a traffic stop May 11 in Imperial. The use of the term altercation would indicate a heated, angry dispute.
Video shot by witnesses shows no aggressive behavior on the part of the victim but some very violent and deadly force being used by the deputies.
The video shows Yancy, a father of two, being beaten and tased to death by a gang of five law Imperial County Sheriff’s deputies. He had been stopped for the “serious crime” of not having a front license plate on his car.
Imperial County Sheriff deputies took Yancy from his wife and children last Sunday, Mother’s Day.
During the incident, Yancy was pulled from his vehicle and attacked by a K-9 dog, tased and beaten.
The witness who filmed the incident is heard saying, “How long before you guys call an ambulance? Call an ambulance!”
That same witness stated that the family has not been allowed to see Yancy’s body, nor have they provided them with a cause of death.
Friends described Yancy as “a very loving guy, loved his kids to death… they were his everything. A Very funny down to earth guy, and loved by all”.
Although none of the officers had any serious injuries, they will likely claim that the dead man was resisting and assaulting them, the typical “justification” for the use of excessive force.
When the loss of life under circumstances such as this is tolerated and excused by those who are supposedly sworn to protect us, we are already living under tyranny.
