‘Al-Qaeda Bomber’ Was a CIA Informant

Just the day after reports that the CIA had foiled a plot involving a “sophisticated underwear bomb” targeted against U.S. airliners, the entire story has once again collapsed into a farce.

Just as the FBI has been caught directing every major domestic terror plot, it turns out that the supposed “bomber” was actually a CIA informant.

VIDEO: CIA Catches Themselves in New Underwear Bomb Plot

“U.S. and Yemeni officials say the supposed would-be bomber at the heart of an al-Qaida airliner plot was actually an informant working for the CIA,” reports the Associated Press.

“Officials say the informant was working for the CIA and Saudi Arabian intelligence when he was given the bomb. He then turned the device over to authorities. Officials say the informant is safely out of Yemen.”

So all the propaganda and fearmongering over this plot was once again over nothing -this was yet another staged incident just as the first underwear bomber event was a manufactured hoax from beginning to end.

Would-be underwear bomber worked with CIA; helped foil plot

    TRENDS:Global terrorism
    TAGS:Arms, Middle East, Terrorism, USA

The man hired by al-Qaeda to bomb a US airliner was a CIA informant, who provided the organization with the explosive device himself. However, American officials still fear a raft of new attacks on the country’s airplanes.

The man worked for the US and Saudi intelligence services, The New York Times quoted US and Yemeni officials as saying. The man was reported to have left Yemen, where he had been recruited by the Yemeni branch of al-Qaeda to carry out the suicide bombing. He not only assisted the CIA in foiling the plot, but also provided critical information to conduct a drone strike that allowed the agency to assassinate Fahd Mohammed Ahmed al-Quso, the branch’s external operations director and a suspect in the bombing of the American destroyer Cole in 2000.

Officials did not disclose the double agent’s identity, nationality, or the intelligence service that had recruited him, though they did say that it was not the CIA. The details of the plot were kept secret until after the agent and his family had been moved to safe locations.
US fears spate of new underwear bomber attacks after capturing ‘invisible’ device

Despite the failure of the plot, fears are growing that the bomb seized by the CIA could be just one of a large number of such devices.

According to The New York Times, a senior law enforcement source said other similar devices could be deployed by other would-be bombers: "If they build one, they probably built more. That's the scary part."

Speaking in New Delhi on the final day of a three-nation Asian tour, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said: "The plot itself indicates that the terrorists keep trying … to devise more and more perverse and terrible ways to kill innocent people."

"It is a reminder as to why we have to remain vigilant at home and abroad in protecting our nation and in protecting friendly nations and peoples like India and others," Clinton said.

The Yemeni branch of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula was linked to the 2009 Christmas plot, in which a plastic explosive hidden in a Nigerian man's underwear failed to detonate on a plane headed for Detroit. It is also suspected of orchestrating a 2010 attempt to blow up cargo planes heading to the United States with explosives concealed in printer cartridges.

The FBI said on Tuesday that investigators were examining an explosive that appeared to be a revamped model of the bomb used in the failed Christmas Day plot of 2009. The new device did not contain metal, meaning it probably could have passed through an airport metal detector. Experts are working to find out whether the new body scanners used in many airports would have detected it.

There were no immediate plans to change security procedures at U.S. airports. But there are reports that last week the plot led the U.S. to order scores of air marshals to Europe to protect U.S.-bound aircraft.

The plot hatched by the Yemeni branch of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) is believed to have been timed to coincide with the one year anniversary of the raid by US Navy commandos that killed Osama bin Laden at his Pakistan hideout.

The latest conspiracy confirmed AQAP as a mounting danger that has gained ground because of unrest in Yemen, officials said.

The White House and other government agencies say the foiled plan was uncovered at an early stage, and at no point was the public in any real danger.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, who heads the Senate Intelligence Committee, told reporters Monday night that she had been briefed earlier in the day about an "undetectable" device that was "going to be on a U.S.-bound airliner."

According to Reuters, senior Yemeni officials say their government has no information on the alleged plot.

The Yemen Underwear Bomb and Other Hobgoblins

    James E. Miller
    Ludwig von Mises Institute
    Wednesday, May 9, 2012

Today it was widely reported that the CIA thwarted a “plot by al Qaeda’s affiliate in Yemen to destroy a U.S.-bound airliner using a bomb.” This bomb, which was to be concealed in a pair of underwear, was designed as an improvement over what Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to use to blow up an airliner over Detroit on Christmas Day of 2009. This bomb was upgraded and designed to specifically avoid metal detectors.

At first glance it would appear to be a job well done by the world’s leading domestic affairs meddlers.

But like all of these instances, it was routinely denied “there was ever any immediate threat to the public.” It was also revealed that:

The bomb plot had allegedly advanced to the point that a would-be suicide bomber was told to buy a ticket on the airliner of his choosing and decide the timing of the attack. It’s not immediately clear what happened to the would-be bomber.

It would seem that what the CIA recovered was essentially just a crudely made bomb. The supposed bomber was nowhere to be found. There is no evidence presented as to a real threat or plan to use it.

The truth was finally revealed as the would-be bomber was, in fact, a double agent of the CIA.

When considering the nature of the state, this new instance of government supported terrorism is unsurprisingly comparable to previous cases.

Looking back at the original underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the mainstream narrative nowhere matches the disturbing details. Not only was Abdulmutallab’s explosive device determined not to be functional but, according toundersecretary for management at the State Department Patrick Kennedy, his visa wasn’t confiscated and he was given
access to the airplane for the purposes of conducting further investigation. This came at the request of federal counterterrorism officials.

As former Assistant Secretary to the U.S. Treasury and acclaimed commentator Paul Craig Roberts documents in regards to attempted terrorist attacks since September 11, 2001:

If we look around for the terror that the police state and a decade of war has allegedly protected us from, the terror is hard to find. Except for 9/11 itself, assuming we accept the government’s improbable conspiracy theory explanation, there have been no terror attacks on the US. Indeed, as RT pointed out on August 23, 2011, an investigative program at the University of California discovered that the domestic “terror plots” hyped in the media were plotted by FBI agents.

For example, the Washington DC Metro bombing plot, the New York city subway plot, the plot to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago were all FBI brainchilds organized and managed by FBI agents.

RT reports that only three plots might have been independent of the FBI, but as none of the three worked they obviously were not the work of such a professional terror organization as Al Qaeda is purported to be. The Times Square car bomb didn’t blow up, and apparently could not have.

Think now about the airliner shoe-bomb plot, the shampoo-bottled water plot, and the underwear-bomb plot. Experts, other than the whores hired by the US government, say that these plots are nonsensical. The “shoe bomb” and “underwear bomb” were colored fireworks powders incapable of blowing up a tin can. The liquid bomb, allegedly mixed up in an airliner toilet room, has been dismissed by experts as fantasy.

Just this past May Day, the FBI reportedly foiled an attempted bombing of a bridge near Cleveland. But like many instances of domestic terrorism, this operation was aided andfacilitated by the FBI itself. On cue, authorities assured the public it “was never in any danger.”

Far from having their liberty secured, the American public is being lulled into a sense of infant dependency from engineered threats from abroad and at home.

The art of governing can be broken down into two easy steps: scare the citizenry into capitulation with manufactured threats and legislate yourself increasing amounts of power.

With the illusion of monsters from foreign countries breathing down their necks, those infatuated with “national defense” as some unworldly savior are more than willing to bow down and submit themselves to having their privacy torn to shreds for the feeling of security. They are no better than children who wrap themselves in a blanket for fear of an unknown boogeyman. The corporate media, never letting an opportunity of state worship go to waste, vets out the reports of threats with little if any vigor. The Associate Press actually found out about the newly “foiled” underwear bomb threat last week but submitted to White House demands to hold off on reporting the story. After all, there is too much money at stake to not buddy up with Washington and keep a frightened populace spoon-fed with false delusions.

The danger in such juvenile acceptance of war propaganda is the creeping hand of despotism that must emerge. For if the public is lead to believe danger lurks in every shadow of the world, it will demand greater and greater protection from exactly those who salivate at the chance to provide it. From the Patriot Act to the National Defense Authorization Act, private correspondence and due process have been casually tossed aside for the promise of safety. This vicious cycle is reinforced by contrived instances of impending doom. The ruling class creates them and then feeds off the panic.

Even Bush administration spokesman Ari Fleischer admitted that “fake” terror alerts were used in 2002 to quell growing criticism amongst the public and particular Congressmen.

The famous Randolph Bourne quote “war is the health of the state” is often invoked as a simple dictum to demonstrate the irrefutable connection between government usurpations of authority and organized combat on a massive, industrialized scale. Almost any respectable writer, historian, or economist will cite the phrase when addressing the topic of warfare. That’s because in just seven plain words the mentality and violent temperament of those who sit at the state’s controls are defined so explicitly, it completely disrobes the glory and prestige too often associated with bloodthirsty crusades of patriotism.

Murray Rothbard recognized the underlying immorality of the government’s war machine complex when he wrote:

It is in war that the State really comes into its own: swelling in power, in number, in pride, in absolute domination over the economy and the society. Society becomes a herd, seeking to kill its alleged enemies, rooting out and suppressing all dissent from the official war effort, happily betraying truth for the supposed public interest. Society becomes an armed camp, with the values and the morale—as Albert Jay Nock once phrased it—of an “army on the march.”

The alleged Yemen “underwear” bomber was just another fabricated spook in the long line of mounting justifications to keep the war on terror and its profiteers going; no matter the cost. As long as the American people are still easily whipped into a frenzy over forged menaces from afar, their blood and treasure will go on to be squandered on military boondoggles and redundant intelligence agencies. War and fear end up becoming a way of life. And so does the state’s command over what could be a life of peace and tranquility for the nation it supposedly protects.

This isn’t conspiracy theory; just a recognition of the various hobgoblins, as H.L. Mencken described them, invented to justify encroaching totalitarianism.

    Another Foiled False Flag

    by Stephen Lendman

Wikipedia defines false or black flags as “covert operations designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities.”

“The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is: flying the flag of a country other than one’s own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations and can be used during peace-time.”

Big lies substitute for truth. Stories are fabricated. Media scoundrels promote them. At issue is heightening fear for planned policies. Pretexts are needed for militarism, imperial wars, and homeland repression. If and when people learn they were duped, it’s too late to matter.

It’s an American tradition. Incidents are strategically timed. Innocent victims suffer. So does everyone living under heightened national security state conditions.

Threats are manufactured. States of emergency are declared. Rule of law principles are discarded. Unchallenged dominance alone matters. Wars on humanity follow. Big lies facilitate them. False flags play their part.

Here we go again. This one’s a sequel. Perhaps Hollywood blockbusters will follow, first the original plot, then the latest. More on the earlier one below.

On May 7, AP headlined “US: CIA thwarts new al-Qaida underwear bomb plot,” saying:

Agents foiled “an ambitious plot by al-Qaida’s affiliate in Yemen to destroy a US-bound airliner using a bomb with a sophisticated new design around the one-year anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden, The Associated Press has learned.”

AP described an upgraded underwear bomb plot. Like the earlier one, it was “designed to be used in a passenger’s underwear, but this time” US officials called it “more refined.”

On May 7, the FBI issued a brief statement, saying:

“As a result of close cooperation with our security and intelligence partners overseas, an improvised explosive device (IED) designed to carry out a terrorist attack has been seized abroad.”

“The FBI currently has possession of the IED and is conducting technical and forensics analysis on it. Initial exploitation indicates that the device is very similar to IEDs that have been used previously by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in attempted terrorist attacks, including against aircraft and for targeted assassinations.”

“The device never presented a threat to public safety, and the US government is working closely with international partners to address associated concerns with the device.”

“We refer you to the Department of Homeland Security, including the Transportation Security Administration, regarding ongoing security measures to safeguard the American people and the traveling public.”

The device contained no metal. It’s not clear if body scanners could have detected it. Officials said an alleged Yemen-based bomber hadn’t yet picked a target or bought plane tickets. CIA agents seized the device before he had a chance. The suspect wasn’t identified.

AP learned of the plot earlier but agreed to White House and CIA requests to delay publishing because intelligence operations were ongoing.

On May 8, the White House and FBI confirmed AP’s report. Deputy national security council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said Obama knew last month. “The disruption of the IED plot underscores the necessity of remaining vigilant against terrorism here and abroad,” she said.

“While the president was assured that the device did not pose a threat to the public, he directed the department of homeland security and law enforcement and intelligence agencies to take whatever steps necessary to guard against this type of attack,” she added.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesman Matt Chandler said:

The latest plot “demonstrates our adversaries’ interest in targeting the aviation sector.” Protective “layers” are thus used.

They “include threat and vulnerability analysis, prescreening and screening of passengers using the best available technology, random searches at airports, federal air marshal coverage, and additional security measures both seen and unseen.”

“It’s not clear who built the bomb,” AP reported. Authorities “suspect it was the work of master bomb maker Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri.” A Saudi citizen, he’s one of their most wanted. Earlier he was imprisoned and released.

He’s reportedly in Yemen with his brother Abdullah. He’s another Saudi most wanted. Washington claims they’re both Al Qaeda connected. He’s blamed for earlier bomb plots.

On March 24, 2011, the State Department included Ibrahim on its terrorist watch list. He’s also on an Interpol Orange Notice one. It “warns police and other international organizations about potential threats from disguised weapons, parcel bombs, or other dangerous materials.”

Washington considers Yemen strategically important. It’s mostly for its location near the Horn of Africa on Saudi Arabia’s southern border, the Red Sea, and Bab el- Mandeb strait.

It’s a key chokepoint separating Yemen from Eritrea. Around three million barrels of oil pass through it daily. The Gulf of Aden connects to the Indian Ocean. Since 2009, Obama waged drone war on the country. CIA and Special Forces operate on the ground. Death squads are deployed.

America’s at war with Yemen without declaring it. Predator drones escalate killing. Media scoundrels say little. Yemen gets attention when foiled bomb plots are claimed. They’re pretexts for stepped up measures there and at home.

Washington’s targets are global. US citizens share risks with foreign ones. Waging war on humanity leaves no one safe. Everyone everywhere is fair game. Any place could erupt in free-fire zone violence. Anyone can be accused of terrorism or conspiracy to commit it.

America’s hegemonic ambitions threaten humanity. Too few at home understand. Public ignorance and indifference let Washington get away with murder. It’s a global killing machine to remove all challenges.

The Earlier Underwear Bomber False Flag

It was fake like the sequel. In December 2009, US officials claimed Nigerian citizen Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab traveled to Yemen, got Al Qaeda training, and explosive PETN chemicals.

Supposedly he tried using them to blow up an Amsterdam-Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day. In fact, he was a fall guy for a joint CIA/Mossad/India Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) false flag.

The same alliance staged coordinated 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Dozens were killed and hundreds wounded. They also were behind former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s 2007 assassination.

The same issue then remains US policy now. Destabilizing and balkanizing Pakistan is planned. It’s also perhaps intended for Afghanistan and Libya. Iraq’s already divided. Always it’s for easier control and exploitation.

Abdulmutallab was a convenient patsy. He was used to facilitate America’s war on Yemen. Britain denied him an entrance visa. His name was on a State Department terror watch list.

Yet he wasn’t on a No Fly List. He paid cash for a one-way ticket to Detroit, checked no luggage, had a US visa but no passport, and was helped onboard by a “well-dressed Indian” gentleman (a RAW agent) to facilitate Washington’s scheme to use him as a convenient dupe.

His PETN was virtually harmless. It was technically deficient, failed to go off properly, and had fire cracker strength. Following the incident, Washington’s war on Yemen escalated and enhanced airport screening began. Full body scanners the ACLU calls “virtual strip search(es)” are used.

False flags create opportunities to advance America’s imperium. They also facilitate its war on dissent. In May 2011, three key Patriot Act powers were extended for another four years. Little debate assured swift passage. As a result:

    (1) Unlimited roving wiretaps continue unchecked.

    (2) Section 215 pertains to alleged suspects. It authorizes government access to “any tangible item.” They included financial records and transactions, student and medical records, phone conversations, emails, other Internet use, and whatever else Washington claims essential.

    (3) Alleged suspect organizations and individuals can be surveilled, whether or not evidence links them to terrorism or complicity to commit it. In other words, police state powers to monitor anyone for any reason or none at all remain unchecked.

Racial profiling and waging war on Islam got boosts. Abdulmutallab benefitted Washington at his own expense. Expect the underwear bomb sequel to provide more.

Washington will take full advantage. Perhaps Obama has another war in mind.

    A Final Comment

On May 8, The New York Times headlined “Rare Double Agent Disrupted Bombing Plot, US says.”

Most likely it’s double-dealing official lies and misreporting. According to Times-speak, a Saudi intelligence agent “infiltrated (a) terrorist group and volunteered for the mission, American and foreign officials said Tuesday.”

Washington claims he provided an “innovative bomb” designed for “aviation attack.” The Times reported the story without checking for reliability. If official sources say it, accounts follow true or false.

The agent is back in Saudi Arabia, The Times said. CIA agents were involved.

What’s true or false isn’t clear. What’s certain is another false flag for reasons similar to previous ones. They repeat well-timed for strategic advantage.

They’re manufactured to look real. Media scoundrels headline them. Most people don’t know they’ve been had. The scam repeats because it works. No wonder America gets away with murder and much more.

Manufactured False Flag Bomb Plot Exposed, Officials Irate Over Leak Proving CIA Ran Entire Operation

    theintelhub.com
    May 9, 2012

The supposed al Qaeda bomb plot to blow up a U.S. bound plane has completely fallen apparent with recent revelations that the terrorist was actually working for the CIA and Saudi Intelligence the entire time.

That’s right, this huge corporate media manufactured story was literally a NON EVENT with the terrorist actually being an operative who then turned the bomb over to the Central Intelligence Agency.

In an all too predictable next move, the corporate media is now running direct homeland security advertisements for body scanners throughout the entire world.

Immediately after the release of this full scale propaganda story, the corporate CIA run media went to work promoting the dangerous naked body scanners and literally worshiping homeland securities draconian “security” measures.

Employees of the Chertoff Group touted their naked body scanners throughout all three major news networks within minutes of the story hitting the newswires.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee is furious over the leak that eventually proved that the supposed terrorist arrested in this latest staged event was actually working for the CIA and Saudi Intelligence.

In a segment on Anderson Coopers (Vanderbilt to be specific) show, Rep. Peter King claimed that its unfortunate this information got out and that a major investigation is being launched to find out how it happened.
“It’s really, to me, unfortunate that this has gotten out, because this could really interfere with operations overseas,” Rep. Peter King of New York told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Tuesday. “My understanding is a major investigation is going to be launched because of this.”

The mole, who volunteered as a suicide bomber for the terrorist group, was actually working as an intelligence agent for Saudi Arabia, a source in the region familiar with the operation told CNN.

The man left Yemen, traveled through the United Arab Emirates and gave the bomb and information about al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula to the CIA, Saudi intelligence and other foreign intelligence agencies, the source said.

The agent works for Saudi intelligence, which has cooperated with the CIA for years, the source said.

“Indeed, we always were the ones managing him,” the source told CNN.
Consider this: If the information was not leaked, networks such as CNN would continue to broadcast 24/7 propaganda as to how al Qaeda almost just blew up an American airline and that we are all in danger if we do not give up more of our rights.

Another report from CNN, this time by Marnie Hunter, used the fear many Americans are most likely feeling from this “bomb plot” to promote the use of naked body scanners not only inside the United States but throughout the world.

Quoting a former head of Israeli airport security, Marnie then went on to reference the Christmas Day Bomber from 2009 (an event completely 100% staged in its own right) and described how the use of naked body scanners inside the U.S. is making us all so much more safe.
A foiled plot to sneak a bomb through airport checkpoints and onto a plane bound for the United States calls attention to gaps in screening measures that are supposed to detect threats airport metal detectors miss.

Outside the United States, the controversial body-scanning technology is not widely used, security experts say. But they say it is the best way to detect plastic explosives hidden on people boarding airplanes.

“Since most of these airports are not using body-scanning technology, including for American flights, I would say that this is an opening that was probably intended to be abused by (the bomb-maker) and those who planned the attack,” said Rafi Ron, president of New Age Security Solutions and former head of security of Ben-Gurion International Airport in Israel.
As Madison Ruppert noted in his recent article, “CIA Thwarts Own New Underwear Bomber Plot, Continues Trend of Manufactured Terror,” there are a variety of reasons for such a staged plot.
This comes as Senator Rand Paul is pushing to dissolve the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) completely while they continue to expand operations outside of airports and into the daily lives of Americans with no reason to do so.

When the American people begin to become increasingly intolerant of the TSA’s invasive tactics and dehumanizing treatment as well as the never-ending global war on terror, there has to be something done to keep us believing that this is for our own good.

This farcical case of manufactured terrorism is just another example of this principle at work. Without the CIA keeping us safe by foiling their own bomb plots, we might have real bomb plots, right?

Or, perhaps, the more logical conclusion would be that without these manufactured bomb plots, there would actually be no bomb plots.
Sadly it seems this country is set to continue to lose the very freedoms the terrorists supposedly hate us for, all in the name of security and the worshiping of the Homeland Security gestapo.

It is up to free thinking citizens throughout the country to continue to expose these staged terror plots and the role that the corporate mockingbird media plays in tricking the public into accepting more and more tyrannical actions in response to plots that were actually staged in the first place.

The Al Qaeda Underwear Bomber: Another Foiled False Flag

    by Stephen Lendman
    Global Research, May 10, 2012

Wikipedia defines false or black flags as "covert operations designed to deceive the public in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities."

"The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is: flying the flag of a country other than one’s own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations and can be used during peace-time."
Big lies substitute for truth. Stories are fabricated. Media scoundrels promote them. At issue is heightening fear for planned policies. Pretexts are needed for militarism, imperial wars, and homeland repression. If and when people learn they were duped, it's too late to matter.

It's an American tradition.

This one's a sequel. Perhaps Hollywood blockbusters will follow, first the original plot, then the latest. More on the earlier one below.

On May 7, AP headlined "US: CIA thwarts new al-Qaida underwear bomb plot," saying:

Agents foiled "an ambitious plot by al-Qaida's affiliate in Yemen to destroy a US-bound airliner using a bomb with a sophisticated new design around the one-year anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden, The Associated Press has learned."

AP described an upgraded underwear bomb plot. Like the earlier one, it was "designed to be used in a passenger's underwear, but this time" US officials called it "more refined."

On May 7, the FBI issued a brief statement, saying:

"As a result of close cooperation with our security and intelligence partners overseas, an improvised explosive device (IED) designed to carry out a terrorist attack has been seized abroad."

"The FBI currently has possession of the IED and is conducting technical and forensics analysis on it. Initial exploitation indicates that the device is very similar to IEDs that have been used previously by al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in attempted terrorist attacks, including against aircraft and for targeted assassinations."

"The device never presented a threat to public safety, and the US government is working closely with international partners to address associated concerns with the device."

"We refer you to the Department of Homeland Security, including the Transportation Security Administration, regarding ongoing security measures to safeguard the American people and the traveling public."

The device contained no metal. It's not clear if body scanners could have detected it. Officials said an alleged Yemen-based bomber hadn't yet picked a target or bought plane tickets. CIA agents seized the device before he had a chance. The suspect wasn't identified.

AP learned of the plot earlier but agreed to White House and CIA requests to delay publishing because intelligence operations were ongoing.

On May 8, the White House and FBI confirmed AP's report. Deputy national security council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said Obama knew last month. "The disruption of the IED plot underscores the necessity of remaining vigilant against terrorism here and abroad," she said.

"While the president was assured that the device did not pose a threat to the public, he directed the department of homeland security and law enforcement and intelligence agencies to take whatever steps necessary to guard against this type of attack," she added.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesman Matt Chandler said:

The latest plot "demonstrates our adversaries' interest in targeting the aviation sector." Protective "layers" are thus used.

They "include threat and vulnerability analysis, prescreening and screening of passengers using the best available technology, random searches at airports, federal air marshal coverage, and additional security measures both seen and unseen."

"It's not clear who built the bomb," AP reported. Authorities "suspect it was the work of master bomb maker Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri." A Saudi citizen, he's one of their most wanted. Earlier he was imprisoned and released.

He's reportedly in Yemen with his brother Abdullah. He's another Saudi most wanted. Washington claims they're both Al Qaeda connected. He's blamed for earlier bomb plots.

On March 24, 2011, the State Department included Ibrahim on its terrorist watch list. He's also on an Interpol Orange Notice one. It "warns police and other international organizations about potential threats from disguised weapons, parcel bombs, or other dangerous materials."

Washington considers Yemen strategically important. It's mostly for its location near the Horn of Africa on Saudi Arabia's southern border, the Red Sea, and Bab el- Mandeb strait.

It's a key chokepoint separating Yemen from Eritrea. Around three million barrels of oil pass through it daily. The Gulf of Aden connects to the Indian Ocean. Since 2009, Obama waged drone war on the country. CIA and Special Forces operate on the ground. Death squads are deployed.

America's at war with Yemen without declaring it. Predator drones escalate killing. Media scoundrels say little. Yemen gets attention when foiled bomb plots are claimed. They're pretexts for stepped up measures there and at home.

Washington's targets are global. US citizens share risks with foreign ones. Waging war on humanity leaves no one safe. Everyone everywhere is fair game. Any place could erupt in free-fire zone violence. Anyone can be accused of terrorism or conspiracy to commit it.

America's hegemonic ambitions threaten humanity. Too few at home understand. Public ignorance and indifference let Washington get away with murder. It's a global killing machine to remove all challenges.

They also were behind former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's 2007 assassination.

The same issue then remains US policy now. Destabilizing and balkanizing Pakistan is planned. It's also perhaps intended for Afghanistan and Libya. Iraq's already divided. Always it's for easier control and exploitation.

Abdulmutallab was a convenient patsy. He was used to facilitate America's war on Yemen. Britain denied him an entrance visa. His name was on a State Department terror watch list.

Yet he wasn't on a No Fly List. He paid cash for a one-way ticket to Detroit, checked no luggage, had a US visa but no passport, and was helped onboard by a "well-dressed Indian" gentleman (a RAW agent) to facilitate Washington's scheme to use him as a convenient dupe.

His PETN was virtually harmless. It was technically deficient, failed to go off properly, and had fire cracker strength. Following the incident, Washington's war on Yemen escalated and enhanced airport screening began. Full body scanners the ACLU calls "virtual strip search(es)" are used.

False flags create opportunities to advance America's imperium. They also facilitate its war on dissent. In May 2011, three key Patriot Act powers were extended for another four years. Little debate assured swift passage. As a result:

    (1) Unlimited roving wiretaps continue unchecked.

    (2) Section 215 pertains to alleged suspects. It authorizes government access to "any tangible item." They included financial records and transactions, student and medical records, phone conversations, emails, other Internet use, and whatever else Washington claims essential.

On May 8, The New York Times headlined "Rare Double Agent Disrupted Bombing Plot, US says."

Most likely it's double-dealing official lies and misreporting. According to Times-speak, a Saudi intelligence agent "infiltrated (a) terrorist group and volunteered for the mission, American and foreign officials said Tuesday."

Washington claims he provided an "innovative bomb" designed for "aviation attack." The Times reported the story without checking for reliability. If official sources say it, accounts follow true or false.

The agent is back in Saudi Arabia, The Times said. CIA agents were involved.

What's true or false isn't clear. What's certain is another false flag for reasons similar to previous ones. They repeat well-timed for strategic advantage.

They're manufactured to look real. Media scoundrels headline them. Most people don't know they've been had. The scam repeats because it works. No wonder America gets away with murder and much more.

The term “terronoia” was used by James Evan Pilato of Media Monarchy to describe what exactly the FBI was attempting to generate amongst the public with their entrapment of the 2010 Portland “Christmas Tree Bomber.” The FBI had conducted “sting operations” like that in Portland Oregon in the past, and certainly many times since then. These include the September 11, 2001 attacks themselves, where each and every “suspect”was either trained or being followed by the US military, US intelligence agencies, or the FBI prior to the attacks – and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing which turned out to be an FBI “sting operation” gone bad.

Most recently we have the “new and improved” underwear bombing narrative, now admitted to be the work of a CIA operative and constitutes a now tiresome storyline where sensational headlines create “terronoia” in the minds of millions of Americans before it is revealed that the entire plot was a production of the US government itself. In the small gap between “terronoia” and reality, exists a period where the corporate-media attempts to resell the merits of the TSA, their invasive checkpoints, and the scandalous irradiating “body scanners,” which we were told have been “vindicated” by this recent bombing plot being “foiled,” now exposed as government manufactured.

Image: From left to right – top to bottom. The “Christmas Tree Bomber,” the “RC Bomber,” the “D.C. Suicide Bomber,” the original “Underwear Bomber,” and the “Underwear Bomber 2.0,” all courtesy of the United States government – not human waves of vicious terrorists, rather dupes approached by, armed, equipped, and built up by the FBI and CIA. Meanwhile, the US government is arming, funding, and backing real terrorists overseas committing heinous acts of violence with US taxpayers’ money and occasionally with the help of unwitting US troops.
    ….
Meanwhile, real terrorists around the globe, guilty of blood-chilling atrocities on nation-wide scales are receiving arms, funding, training, air support, and diplomatic recognition from the US government – including in Libya, and more recently in Syria. In fact, many of the US funded, armed, and backed terrorists from Libya are turning up in increasing numbers in Syria’s so-called indigenous “rebellion.” Additionally, the US State Department has announced that it isclose to making an announcement on the de-listing of the terrorist organization Mujahadin-e Khalq (MEK), guilty of killing both US troops and civilians, as well as carrying out to this day a terrorist campaign against not only Iranian military targets, but political and civilian targets as well.

Image: A screenshot from the US State Department’s website showing MEK listed as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization” and listed as “29. Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK).” Paradoxically the US State Department is currently aiding and abetting the organization, with its efforts, along with the UN, British and Israeli government’s, being the sole factor keeping the organization in existence. (click on image to enlarge)

    ….
US policy makers admit in the Brookings Institution’s “Which Path to Persia?” report that “undeniably, the group [MEK] has conducted terrorist attacks,” yet still promotes the use of these proxy terrorists to achieve US foreign policy in Iran. Brookings noted the necessity of “de-listing” MEK back in 2009, before closer, and more overt collaboration could begin. The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) follows a similar pattern – verified by West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center as having killed US troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan, the militant group, listed by the US State Department as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization,” led the NATO-backed overthrow of Libya’s government in 2011 with US funding, weapons, training, air support, and diplomatic recognition.
The same story is playing out in Pakistan’s southwestern province of Baluchistan, where terrorists are being funded, armed, and trained by the US to fight both the Pakistani government as well as Iranians across the border - admittedly as a ploy to destabilize Pakistanand disrupt Chinese investments in the region.

Image: A visual representation of some of the Brookings Institution’s corporate sponsors. Brookings is by no means an exception, but well represents the incestuous relationship between US foreign and domestic policy making and the Fortune 500 found in every major “think-tank.” Elected US representatives charged with legislative duties, merely rubber stamp the papers and policies drawn up in these think-tanks. Brookings Institution, in their report “Which Path to Persia?” openly advocates the arming, funding, and backing of the MEK terrorist organization – despite admitting it has killed Americans and “undeniably” carries out terrorism.

From underwear bombers to Libya’s globetrotting death squads, it turns out that the US government itself is driving this omnipresent global threat and constitutes the premier state-sponsor of terrorism. From the very creation of Al Qaeda in the mountains of Afghanistan, to Al Qaeda death squads bombing targets across Syria today, the US is machinating behind the scenes to perpetuate its foreign policy through a false strategy of tension where the villains and “heroes” are of their own creation. It is only through apathy and ignorance that they succeed in foisting this narrative upon the public, as well as our daily patronage of the corporate-financier interests devising and driving this agenda.

Truthers, Rejoice! CIA Leaks After Hitting The Iceberg of Truth

On April 28, 2012, The New York Times published a “truther” article with the headline, “Terrorist Plots, Hatched by the F.B.I.” I couldn’t believe my eyes. Is this the same New York Times that said Iraq was connected to Al-Qaeda and that the moon is made out of cheese?

When did conspiracy theorists start taking over the minds of the editors of the New York Times?

    What is going on?

Is New York Times trutherism a mere ploy to stay relevant as the global alternative media gains greater credibility?

And why is the CIA allowing the NY Times and Washington Post to say that the CIA and FBI are deceiving the public about terrorism on an epic scale?

Why is the CIA saying that an Al-Qaeda bomber is a CIA double agent?

Why do they want to associate Al-Qaeda with the CIA so openly and unashamedly?

Do they want people in denial to take the blinders off and see the truth that the War on Terror is a big scam?

Are CIA officials closet conspiracy theorists?

Are major media writers secret truthers?

I thought CIA plastic surgeons would give Al-Qaeda a facelift after the demise of head double agent Osama Bin Laden, not turn it into a joke by saying it uncovered an Al-Qaeda underwear plot against American flight passengers.

Is the CIA trying to leak the truth that Al-Qaeda is its creation and its play toy to the American people and the world? What kind of game are they really playing? Why is the voice of media power speaking truth all of a sudden?

Is the CIA and other intelligence agencies going extinct as glaciers of lies melt and icebergs of truth surface to global collective consciousness?

Do the National Security and Counter-Terrorism fraudsters in America, England, and Israel understand that the game is up? Are they hanging up their uniforms and leaving the field of fraud on their own terms? Do they know they are drowning in a sea of truth and public fury?

The tricksters at the CIA and FBI must realize that there are only two ways out of the giant mess they have made: internal reform, or external revolution. The population extermination agenda has been exposed, and it won’t work. The National Security State cannot escape history and suppress the record of its crimes and injustices against America and humanity.

The bad guys can attempt to sell political re-education camps, massive concentration camps, political detention centers, mass killings, martial law, world war three, etc. – but they will fail. They won’t be successful in shoving tyranny down the American people’s throats. Their game of fraud and treason is over.

Truthers and conspiracy theorists are clearly winning in the Infowar. Even the mainstream media machine now admits that the CIA and Al-Qaeda are basically one. The FBI and CIA have been exposed as terrorism factories, not security agencies.

What’s next? Will the New York Times and Washington Post touch 9/11 truth?

Will CNN and Fox News start paying allegiance to Ron Paul and the American flag instead of Barack Obama and an authoritarian global government?

Will they treat the American people and the people of the word as humans instead of as animals?

Maybe that’s pushing it, but maybe there is some humanity in the corporate/state media in America and the West. Maybe these people are not totally evil. And maybe the public is not totally gullible.
