Self-professed fecal draft-dodger Ted Nugent, who is not racist because he profits from black music, was interviewed by Guns.com at the almost-aptly-named SHOT Show 2014 about a variety of topics, and had a few more choice words for President Obama, whom Nugent once said (from a distance) should "suck on my machine gun."

Rocker Ted Nugent, 65, hit the campaign trail Tuesday with Texas Republican gubernatorial nominee Greg Abbott, the state’s current attorney general.
Abbott’s opponents were quick to highlight Nugent’s controversial comments.

“Greg Abbott’s embrace of Ted Nugent is an insult to every Texan — every man, woman, husband, and father. If this is Greg Abbott’s idea of values, it’s repulsive,” said spokesman for State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis.

Last month, Nugent called President Obama a “subhuman mongrel” in an interview with Guns.com.

Sounds almost tyrannical that a government would use one of their databases of citizens to track down and arrest those citizens because they aren’t in their new database of citizens. Well, that’s what might happen in CT.

By some estimates, 20,000 – 100,000 residents may have failed to register their firearms with the state. Here is what the Courant has to say about that in a recent editorial,

Although willful noncompliance with the law is doubtless a major issue, it’s possible that many gun owners are unaware of their obligation to register military-style assault weapons and would do so if given another chance.
But the bottom line is that the state must try to enforce the law. Authorities should use the background check database as a way to find assault weapon purchasers who might not have registered those guns in compliance with the new law.
A Class D felony calls for a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Even much lesser penalties or probation would mar a heretofore clean record and could adversely affect, say, the ability to have a pistol permit.
If you want to disobey the law, you should be prepared to face the consequences.

Conservative rocker and NRA board member Ted Nugent took some credit for getting Piers Morgan’s CNN show cancelled during an interview with one of the network’s other anchors, Erin Burnett. His comments came after Burnett asked him if his apology for calling President Barack Obama a “sub-human mongrel” was sincere.

Nugent insisted his apology was serious and also defended himself against claims that his comments were racist in nature.
“We call bad people who are destroying our neighborhoods mongrels,” Nugent said, later adding, “I don’t have a racist bone in my body!”
“For anyone to claim that I’m a racist or it had racist overtones is the typical crap that the propaganda ministry and the media — particularly most of your co-workers there, even though I got Piers Morgan’s a** thrown out, and I’ll do the same with Don Lemon and Wolf Blitzer when I can,” he said.

“Do me a favor, don’t talk about my colleagues that way,” Burnett shot back. “I respect them both greatly.”
“They don’t deserve respect, but you go ahead,” Nugent replied.

While he admitted that name-calling is not a constructive activity when trying to improve the condition of the United States, he also said Obama is a “bad man” who has divided the nation with class warfare and other destructive policies.

Back in January Ted Nugent head an interview where he called Barack Obama a communist sub-human mongrel:

The media was irate with his selection of words, especially after Ted Nugent went out and campaigned with GOP gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott.
